$ouff$ are playing better than they have in previous years.
In the last 2 years they choked, all the help and leg ups stopped when they hit the finals and they failed. This year they may be able to survive that.

I think it depends on 2 things, whether Ingli$ keeps up the work rate or goes back to being lazy again and if Sutton plays.
If Sutton plays (And Keary doesn't start) then $ouff$ are stuffed

Souths looked unbeatable this time last year too. We just had a comprehensive win over Manly followed by a strong performance over Dogs and Tigers. Sound familiar? Finals are a different beast

Right now they are the best team in the comp and favourites. They're a better team than last year and their forwards are smashing packs that are smaller than them. GI doh is looking the goods, their young back line players are class.

But they won't win the premiership because they don't have a plan b. They're a good football side but they're not a smart one.

South's have had a great pack for a couple of years now. It's the young talent in the backs and halves that are making the difference this year.

Dunno if Madge knows how to get a side through to a GF just yet. Feels like they're blowing all their steam in round 23 when Manly are just coasting along, doing what they need to and playing finals-type footy.

Could be wrong. Just how it feels.

I think it's pretty much the same feels as the past two years for souths but this year there 2-5 seems much much improved. Although they are young, so the pressure of finals football for the souths 2-5 will be there biggest test imo

This.

The amount of people jerking off on Souths this same time last year was ridiculous. All it takes is one injury, one penalty, one bad tackle, one bad ref, and one bad game when it counts the most to lose a season. No one knows that better than South Sydney.

And last year we beat Melbourne in the finals where we've supposedly never proved anything and they're unbeatable.

And compare that 17 to our best 17 now. We are more improved than any other contending team from last years finals.

If they get a chance... I think the Warriors pack can handle the Souths pack.

They can be just as physical... And may even have more skill in them.

Souths won't be able to take them across to Perth this time...

Souths were barely at 50% last night. Take out GI and Daniel Vidot and you've got a different ball game. There's a heap of improvement in this side yet.

Sure... If we play the Warriors again, it will be at ANZ... Our home ground...

I'm sure that will make all the difference. :sarcasm:

They will beat Melbourne and Roosters

And they have already proven they are a class above Moanly. Souths finished Moanly's season last week. They are crushed and broken and have nothing. They will get beaten by more next time and will be hoping to avoid Souths.

Good luck at their home ground. Lol. Every game Souths have now is in Sydney. Most at ANZ.

Wishful thinking after the hiding you got in Perth from an understrength Souths side.

Don't the Warriors have a winning record against Souths at ANZ Stadium??

In fact, I'm pretty sure the Warriors have played bigger games at ANZ Stadium than Souths have...

Playing at ANZ Stadium would be a much kinder option for the Warriors compared to going across 3 time zones to play in Perth.
