Actually, the Greens have been very noticeable in their absence during this "BS" as you put it. Their fanbase has a lot of mung beans, that think their immune system will save them against SARS type viruses. Their whole stance on this pandemic has been limp wristed and cowardly.

Voting them all out will not get rid of the virus, apparently it's also overseas. Conspiracy or not, it's coming to an immune system near you. If you still think this is a beat up while it's happening all around you... dude!

I suppose Omicron vindicates the "It's just a flu" brigade. Delta is still out there though, I see it daily.

Can you explain why when we have the majority of people vaxxed the case numbers in every single country are going off the frigging chart.

What about the most vaccinated country on earth - Israel at 100% - they've actually started on the 4th jab because the first 3 didn't work and case numbers are sky rocketing.

Oh I read your previous post. More of the same. Sensationalist rubbish with absolutely no substance. You obviously lack the ability to think critically, so you're quite hard to take seriously.

Having said that, the answer to your two questions are quite simple.

Viruses mutate. And the vaccination was not intended to completely prevent transmission. Anyone who said otherwise was either hopeful, wrong, or mistaken.

It really is that simple.

It's about vaccine efficacy. Vaccines for flu, mumps chicken pox, covid etc do not provide 100% protection. In fact, the vaccines for covid offer higher protection than most.

You can get a jab and still get infected, it's just that you stand a better chance of fighting it and staying out of hospital if you've been vaccinated. The virus stays in your system for less time if you've been vaccinated.

With respect, this is rather basic stuff and it was one the first points of clarification when the covid vaccinations were released in 2020.
