Have had a few but I advise never do a triple fracture of the humerus head plus dislocated shoulder at the same time. Or if you do make sure you do it at work because I burnt every minute of my long service leave up doing it then another 4 weeks annual leave 12 months later when I got the plate and 500000 screws out
Dayam! When you getting a shoulder arthroplasty. Must be a hot mess of arthuritits

I dare say it will be something I have to get done in the future, I did it in 2020 and once I got the plate out it hasn't given me too much grief but I've obviously got nowhere near the mobility in that shoulder I did before. I've got about a 25cm scar where the surgeon cut me open so I also wonder if the scar tissue stops movement. I'll see if I've still got the ct scan pics of the plate and post it

Jesus.
Don’t I feel like a soft coq
Haha, sorry didn't mean to make it into a competition. The pain of that shoulder still didn't come close to when I had an impacted wisdom tooth that caused an abscess, words couldn't describe how excruciating that pain was.

Yeah wisdom tooth pain is ridiculous.
I was getting ready for work one morning when it suddenly felt like someone had belted me in the jaw with a baseball bat.
Pharquing wisdom tooth. Honestly, your entire skull just kills.

Plus fractured clavicle by the look of that. Looks like some fixation in your collarbone there as well, which by the way, still looks a bit out of place. How old is that film?

I don't have any. Never did have, never will have. I'm more highly evolved, you see. Modern humans shouldn't have wisdom teeth. Jaw not big enough. That's why they are cunsovthings.

That was just before I got the plate out so about august 2021. The fracture hadn't quite healed and I had to get a bone graft from my hip to fill it in. I probably should do a bit of a follow up tbh as its been about 2 years since I last saw the orthopaedic surgeon.

Tell me cheesy one. How the phuque much do those bone graft sites from the hip hurt? I remember when I had mine it hurt 10 times more than the place they put the bloody thing.

There was actually no real pain at all. To this day though the area where it was done feels kind of numb though

You're lucky then. Graft sites are known to be horrid for pain. Maybe mine was just big and it was. Was called an H Graft, shaggs might know of it. They take a big H of bone from the iliac crest and place it over the vertebrae and screw it into ya. Was around 12cm long and 8cm wide in a single block. That was in 1984, doubt they do this shit anymore.

What was the actual injury for that? My graft was only like 3 or 4 stitches so it mustn't have been much bone taken.

The injury was a simple ruptured discs but when that was getting investigated they found a Grade 2 spondylolisthesis which meant I needed a fusion at the time the discs got fixed.

Hard to describe the spondo and I don't have those old films anymore but it's one of these. Mine was 40% so not quite this bad. Had been there all my life apparently and a lot of people have them and never know. Scary

After Bondi today, footy doesn’t matter much.
Terrible! Reality is that there are stark raving Mad?crazy people all over world . ,even here in Australia , among us,watching us Hating us or anyone different to them , For all the tragedy of It I will still watch the Football , as It takes us away to a place where people can compete Physically at Highest level without wanting to literally Kill each other .and we can all participate vicariously for couple of hours to escape this type of lunacy. Then got to come back to reality and be as prepared as possible to Protect innocent People and Family . Sounds like there were some outstanding examples of that . Lets celebrate the heroes and the lives of victims of the lunatic who did not deserve to be deprived of life by a sick and broken sub human being
