I predict Asotasi to do a Chris Walker...souths to get the spoon yet again, its like getting pissed and waking in the morning to find a nightmare next to you in bed.

Fair enough. Big difference though, Chris Walker is pathetic, Roy is not, so we won't be letting him go if he becomes a serial killer. Best thing about Chris Walker though, your lot took him off our hands. He only cost you a GF!:D

Finding nightmares in bed? I've got no idea about that one mate, sounds like you've had plenty of experiences though.

Here is a prediction,

Each forum member to back their side to do well. I am yet to see otherwise.

StGeorge to make the top 4, and have no traditional 5/8 play a game this year (barring injuries). When in the middle 3rd of the field I think they will have two players one pass off the ruck either side, then gaz, basically giving them 3 centres.

When in either of the outside 3rds of the field, Hornby/Young or Woolford to play 1st/2nd off the ruck, enabling gaz to essentialy be an inside centre.

A prediciton that it will not work (& saints endure another slow start) until the team is comfortable with this "new" style of play - Round 7.

Sharks don't have anyone like that, hell we played better without Kimmorley, than with him!

Kearney, when you had no Kimmorley, Dykes/Kearney had a good run in the halves, when Dykes was gone, Kimmorley/Kearney had another good run in the halves, heck, even with Kearney/Vagana in the halves the sharks won a game this year. Kearney is the man, or maybe Covell.

Always one in the crowd ;-), however I am sure you think your side wont be far away. Win one or two of the small losses and presto you are in.

I've said it before, but I think we are in the same boat as Canberra, Sydney, Wests, Gold Coast, Penrith, Cronulla and New Zealand in that any of these teams could make the 8 or come last. So yes, I do think we are a chance, but I doubt we can make such a huge transformation from one year to the next (going form run away wooden spooners to finalists in one year).

I reckon next years Australia/NZL clash in April will be another close one.

No doubt about that whasoever .... NZ have closed that gap big time. We are now so close to each other, only an idiot could truly believe the Kangaroos are the best team in the world.

Doesn't matter how close they are, there is still one that has their nose in front, therefore they are the best team in the world.

- Newcastle will begin the big post johns slide. They will just miss the top 8
- Brisbane and Melbourne will buck the trend of grandfinalist missing the 8 the following year.
- Melbourne will again fall one short of the ultimate goal.
- Queensland will win SOO, 2-1, in controversial circumstances.
- Jarod Mullen will NOT play origin this year
- South Sydney will be competitive but still come stone motherless last.
- Canberra will not come last, further more they will infact again be involved in finals action
- The Cowboys will win the competition, on the back of the combination of Smith-Thurston in the halves.
- Dave Taylor and William Zillman to be the best of a huge crop of promising youngsters to make their mark in 2007
- The tigers will improve but they will not be a threat for the title at any stage.

Those are my predictions... so naturally you can bet the house on the exact opposite to the above...

And considering they had there 2 biggest players out.....the result could have been different this year aswell.
