We've got Finch, who is a much better 5/8 than Gasnier, then if he fails we've got a young guy called Blake Green who can play halfback as well. He's no Darren Lockyer, but he's got potential.
Hes no Darren Lockyer So why are you judging Gasnier by that standard prior to seeing him play more than a few games All of which he played well when he had our structure around him
You wouldnt be backing Finch if he was with another team Not even Finch would know where he is best suited and how it will work with Smith They might look like two halfbacks most of the time

Who's your hooker, Simon Woolford? now what happens when Head gets injured are you now gonna rely on Woolford to do the kicking? Hornby has to play in the halves cause the Dragons used to have success when he was playing there.
Hornby will play in the halves no matter where he starts the game It has been like that for a long long time Hornby has become our number one long kicker We have more options that just Woolford Just depends on who else is playing

I know Gasnier can create havoc in the middle on occassions in attack, but leave him where he's best suited, in the centres. Why fix something thats not broken?
Gasnier picks his opportunties as well as anyone around Inglis was saying the same during the Tri Nations
Why is he best suited in the centres because thats where you know him to play He has been easily isolated in the last two preliminary finals
We havent won a premiership in years so that needs fixing but it is moreso the next stage in Gasniers development Remember how he played back when he split time between wing and centre or how he played as a left centre soon after He is a very different player now
Another five years and the same will be said again even if he moves back to a position you are more familar with because someone else comes into the team New players who come into the team will dictate how we play It is no different this year
