Big Pete's Predictions:

I can't see the Broncos suffering the premiership curse in 2007 and will be in the top 4. Webcke won't be too big a loss with either Hannant or Taylor stepping up.

Cowboys will only show glimpses of their 2004/2005 form but will be far too inconsistent. Smith will prove to be a bit of a dud buy. Thurston and Payne to be their best players.

Titains to show what their capable of but never really prove to be too much of a threat. Players like Bailey and Campbell won't offer too much.

Roosters to vastly improve and make the Top 8. I really can't see them doing the same or worse than their 2006 year.

Warriors also to be a threat.

Predicted Table:
1. Bulldogs
2. Sea Eagles
3. Broncos
4. Roosters
5. Storm
6. Warriors
7. Dragons
8. Knights

Sharks to be in position to make the top 4 after 3 months then a massive slump sees them go to 41 year old virgins, with Ricky Stuart going to desperate measures including Kimmorley at hooker, Thompson at 5/8, Kingston in the centers, Dykes at fullback and Covell at halfback.

Lookin at NSW halves we're strugglin for a five eighth. I mean Craig Gower might play there with Orford, but wont be as strong as Lockyer/Thurston.

I think next year's series is going to be interesting.

that parra team looked alot better with morrison and morris and jezza smith as oppose to finch and tim smith minus jason taylor now, lol if they make the 8 i'd be counting myself lucky parra fans, btw some of my predictions:

1. melbourne to exact revenge on the broncos and take out the 2007 premiership

2. cameron smith win the dally m medal 2 years running

3. greg inglis play 5/8 at rep level

4. warriors to make the top 4

5. Canberra to blood some youngsters and go on the way up

6. tigers for the spoon

7. titans for 2nd last

8. andrew johns retires

9. cronulla to add another year of zero premierships to their records

10. israel folau to be named rookie of the year just ahead of dave taylor

What halves do NSW have to sweep the Maroons?

Why dont you ask the colonel to justify his ''prediction'' souths halves will again be a problem , or ask SSTID to validate his guaranteed 'prediction" the Roosters will win the spoon.

Predictions chuck, fantasy, guesswork ...a bit of fun...look it up.

1. Manly to knock the critics and perform without Kennedy. As they partly did times of last season.

2. The Sharks to claim the spoon, but not sack Stuart, but sack Kimmorley

3. The roosters to miss the eight again, but will improve on last years season

4. Weidler to report countless bullsh*t stories heard hours before on other stations reporting them as channel nine revelations.

5. Warriors to make top eight, maybe top four, with Cleary being branded a great coach, the roosters lurk around him.

Hard to see Inglis getting picked at 5/8 ahead of Lockyer who is in front at State and national level.

Dragons to win premiership. Rangi Chase to play five eight from round 2 onwards as gaz is trialled at 6 but browny then realises that he is better left at centre. Titans to make top 8. Melbourne to get minor premiership but fall short again in big one. Brown given dally M coach of the year and Hornby captain of the year

Believe me, Mateo will be far better. The guy is a giant with the ball skills of David Solomona.

Brett Finch is not as bad as what people make out. FFS he won NSW game one is a SOO, voted Roosters supporters player of the year, plus had 19 try assists despite starting from the bench.

Rickys style didn't do Finch just justice.

You obviously don't know much if you think we'll be lucky to make the 8. The Parra side is the best since 2001. We have aquired size and go forward over the off season by recruiting young players in the forward positions.

Inu is an absolute gun in the making. Very similar to Tahu, Lett is alos another gun who played with Hayne at junior rep level, but injuries prevented him from playing much last year.

We have won the reserve GF two years in a row by utilising young players. These young players will be given the chance next year under Hagan.

If anything, i doubt Melboune will make the impact that they did this year. All it takes is an injury to Cronk or Inglis and they're screwed.

For the NSW halves, i think a Gower/Mullen would work pretty well. I think Gower is ready for a big year next year after quiet a dissapointing one this year. Although there is no combination that would match Thurston/Lockyer... unless we have some freak 5/8 come out of nowhere.

Tigers for the spoon. You Wish 1999. There is no way in the world the tigers are going to finish last. I think the tigers will finish between 4th and 8th. Any higher will be a bonus.
