Shame he has had a form slump of late.
If he was still getting some runs, he's still one of the best bats in the country.
I suppose he did the smart thing and went out on his terms.
I'll miss him. Why? Because the selectors think that pretender Quiney has some talent. If we are going to have an underperforming batsman, I'd rather it be Ponting than that Mexican.
