As a JJJ listener who at times struggled with some of the new genres, how good is their new digital channel Double J (ex DIG) that started yesterday..

Play list is still indy, just no rap and doof doof music.

You guys would love the radio stations in the Emirates then. All run by 40 year old British expats, so it's a constant stream of all the shit that was playing in the 90s.

Talking about pigs at the trough. Not long ago Tony Abbott lashed out at suggestions that some of his mob were corrupt.

Prime Minster Tony Abbott has lashed out at a journalist who suggested the NSW government was corrupt during a press conference following the shock resignation of NSW Premier Barry O’Farrell. The journalist, believed to be Nicola Berkovic, a reporter for The Australian, asked: “Prime minister, do you trust this government – the state government – which is proving to be corrupt, to deliver your major infrastructure plans?”
Abbott reacted angrily to the question, lecturing the woman who asked it and demanding that she “withdraw” the question.
“That is an entirely unjustified smear,” said Abbott.
“Let me not mince my words, madam, an entirely unjustified smear and frankly, I think you should withdraw that and apologise because there is no evidence whatsoever for that.”
Since then the coalition head count goes like this:-

1 Premier
2 state ministers
1 federal minister
4 MPs

We need some more chlorine in the politicians gene pool.

It wasn't this kid's very first word, but a mate of mine's son (they live on the back straight of Caulfield racecourse) uttered 'stewardstower' in his first 20 or so 'words'. Another was 'Northerly'.

My mates son lives near Parramatta Stadium. Some of the first words he said were "Hold on to the ball for f**k sake" and "Tackle you pillow biter".
