Police have launched an investigation after a man walked into a police station on the NSW Central Coast and handed in what he claimed was a severed penis.
A NSW Police spokeswoman confirmed that a man had attended Toukley police station about 11.15am on Thursday and handed officers an "unidentified item".
That item had been taken to John Hunter Hospital, where it would be forensically examined by specialists, the spokeswoman said.

This is an important document. It should be an important document which informs public debate. That's the way Peter Costello intended it, that?s the way Wayne Swan did it. Joe Hockey does not respect the Charter of Budget Honesty. The Intergenerational Report should be a bi-partisan document which informs public debate, not a cheap political prop for Joe Hockey.

Can I just add that for a government who does not believe in climate change, with many of their ministers actually laughing it off as a myth, this from the IR today confirms that they know it's real. Oops.

It says "some economic effects may be beneficial".

"Where regions become warmer or wetter this may allow for increased agricultural output - while others may be harmful," the report said.

"For example, lower rainfall may reduce crop yields, or transport infrastructure (such as roads, ports and rail networks) may become more susceptible to damage from extreme weather events."

Everyone believes in climate change you dope. The contention is over causality, impact (whether or not it is a net benefit) and the cost vs benefit of attempting to arrest or reverse said climate change.

Next you'll be saying people actually ever believed in a flat earth.

I dealt with plenty of think tanks in my last job and TAI is the only one that doesn't even pretend to be independent. They are an absolute joke, even amongst the establishment left. They proved it again with that Tweet you quoted.
