I have a HD samsung 50 inch HD Tv, and no you cant really notice to much of a difference unless your sitting 5 cms away from the tv to see the opponents players frekles that scores on the eels.

You need either your eyes checked, or to take the sharpness control off zero.

There is less difference for movies shot in soft focus, etc, but it's pretty easy to pick the difference when watching sport events that are shot using HD cameras and shown simultaneously on Fox Sports X HD and Fox Sports X SD.

There's a massive difference between HD and SD, especially with sport.
It is so hard to watch games on channel 9 now that I've gotten used to the HD games on Foxtel.

I've got a small TV and everything looks like HD on it. It's only on big screens that I notice a difference. drongo2010 needs to get a bigger TV.

Not real big these days. Anyway it's all about how you use it. Maybe you should try watching some HD shows instead of just the donkeys on channel nine every Friday night.

Yeh, the Channel 9 picture is made worse by the fact that they use HD cameras and then convert down for the SD broadcast. Native SD is not so bad.

You post as if you have a wiz bang TV. But if you can't notice the difference when you switch to 1080p, then in reality, it's a shit TV.

I have a stock standard 50' Sony 3d whatever and I can tell you that in 1080p is like looking out the f**king window.

My 64inch Samsung looks magic in HD, when I'm watching the 9 broadcasts it is significantly poorer.

The NFL looks even better in HD than NRL, and NRL already looks great!

Not at my place - my windows are all Standard Definition.

If I can be serious for a moment, I'd like to remind people of the dangers of drinking and driving. Even if worse doesn't come to worst, you'll often find yourself playing a recovery shot from the adjoining fairway.

I have told @cpyne that @PalmerUtdParty senators will oppose his education reforms. University should be FREE for all Australians #auspol #
Um it's not free anyway you fat f**k. What you're not agreeing to is the deregulation of uni fees which allow them to charge what they like AND that HECS (or whatever it's called these days) remains at low rates etc and the trigger regarding payment remains as is.

You're a f**kwit, but on the right track anyway.
