If you like GoT, Haynzy, then let me know and I might let you read what I've written.

For the record, I'm only comparing it to GoT because most people don't know fantasy and it's as close a comparison as they would understand.

I did until I was caught in a landslide with no escape from reality.

If I could buy a business it would be Wilson Parking, fmd , I have paid and parked in a lot of places around the world, and it is dearer than New York, Chicago and Rome, debatable about London

Had to take my wife into the friggin City today, always had company parking previously, $43 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. What a rip off. No wonder the suburban malls that offer first 3 hours free do decent business, not going to go back in a hurry, why go into Sydney City when you have choices :(

You can park in parking stations in Covent Garden for 11 quid ($21) for two hours. You will have had to pay a congestion charge to enter the city though I guess.

Cool, I should be finished by Christmas, there's a bit to get through.
I'm looking forward to getting past where they're up to on the show, I like surprises.

Have you read 'The Madships Trilogy' by Robin Hobb HJ?
I think it's a great read and one of the more original fantasy trilogies I've read.

I haven't read the books, but from what I've heard the show has already caught up to where the books are. Apparently there was even a thing or two in the show that haven't been in the books yet as well.

Ride a motorcycle. Free parking right throughout the city.

Yeah, I really like Robin Hobb's stuff in general. The Farseer Trilogy isn't as good as Madships, but still worth a read.

I don't think so. I think they're just doing their own stuff now, and the show will tread its own path where it goes ahead of the books, so as not to spoil what's coming in the books.

Apparently the show has changed some of the chronology of things in the books but still keeps pretty close to the story.
We've had four seasons of the show and they are apparently tracking pretty well with the books of which there are currently seven (originally five but they've separated two of them) and there are two to come.

Ahhh. That explains the very short but reassuring text I just received from my friend (who I was supposed to be visiting yesterday).

Bugger. Evil f**kwits.

Whats the go with selling all the farm too the Chinese? Whys is the government allowing it?

Well, we've been selling it to the British, West Germans (then Germans), Americans, Japanese etc for the last 100 or so years, so.....

If we have to, we can buy it back off them. If we stop it, the farmers federation won't like it, and they different rules to the rest of us.
