Not sure he was affiliated with the Dogs at any stage but given all the dramas that have happened with the Hughes and Mortimers I'd say you know the answer as well as I do. I am pretty sure the Eels signed him directly from James Sheahan in Orange after seeing him play fro NSWCCC.

His two brothers actually played lower grades for Manly and are in the Belrose side at the moment.

I think the judges just pull the names out of a hat mate, for example Eddie Paea was awful and got 2 points and it's been like that in every game i've watched.
