As we are the top escholon of Parramatta,... ney Sport supporters in the world ( ;-) ), what are some of the more admirable or tragic thinks you have done as a supporter of the Eels....?

EG:
Admirable: When in year 11 &12 i used to walk to every home game from my home in Winston Hills.

Tragic: during the off season, i will tape and watch any new story regarding the Eels and watch it several times to try and see and hear every little thing that is reported and his happening in the background....

Admirable: I have been known to drive through the night to make a Parramatta home game and not waste a game of my season pass. Why admirable? I was in Adelaide and arrived shortly before first grade kicked off....

Tragic: Similar to PB, will scour the newspapers, internet and news for anything that is in the remotest way linked to Parramatta. At one stage I was able to name all the players who played from SG Ball through to the first grade squad over a couple of seasons...

Admirable: I am born and bred in Brisbane, Queensland so I have no right to support them but I think about them all the time. I honestly love this team like no other.

Tragic: I find myself all to often watching replays of the 81, 82, 83 and 86 gfs plus the 01 highlights.

Also when we moved into our house I insisted that the colour scheme be blue and gold.

When we lose I throw my jersey up on the roof and it doesn't come back down until we win.

ADMIRABLE: i have travelled to every home stadium of every other club (including nz, but, except for brisvegas which will happen this year) - I am only 18. I went to Townsville when i was 15 and 16!

TRAGIC: if you know me, you will have see my scrapbooks. Started in '01 - i have pretty much every photo / story in every paper / magazine since that day. My little hobby is now 4 books strong and i get the players to sign the best photos of them.
Once Dean Widders took one off me and showed all the boys, and Daniel Irvine liked it so much he wrote - "dear jess, you are a legend, luv Bubsy" on his page and declared to all that is was the "Daniel Irvine Scrapbook."

Living in Adelaide I sit up to all hours of the morning to catch games, I guess that could be both admiral and tragic.
Also scan the australian and hang out for sports tonight for any skerick(sp??) of eel news.
I regale my friends and family with all sorts of news and info about the eels whether they want to hear it or not

Admiral: probably drag my non rugby league mate to parra leagues club to buy a jersey when we should have been driving home to Adelaide. In the end we arrived at some ungodly hour of the morning.

Very Tragic: my three children could/can all say yay parra before many other words that may be deemed by some to be more important.
This they all did/do with no prompting other than the sighting of an eels logo or blue and gold colours or a man with a football :D
They can also say boo dragons and blah bulldogs and blah manly and blah broncos

Not really sure if these can be considered good or tragic

- Have been to everyground (except Townsville)
- Been to Bega and Gold Coast (twice) for trials
- Have hitup, tackle, metres gained etc stats for every player who has played 1st grade for Parra since 1998
- Have scorer stats for every grade from HM to 1st grade for every player since 1998
- Tape every Parra game and when they lose I burn the tape
- Travelled to NZ one year when I was unemployed

Tragic? TRAGIC?

You want TRAGIC?

OK how's this:

My 2004 model Honda Jazz VTi-S CVT (My baby) is blue, with yellow plates, yellow seats, a yellow steering wheel, yellow alloys AND 2 or 3 Eels stickers.

Admirable: walk down to every home game during the year ... . live 10 min walk away from the staduim ;-)

Tragic: my phone has an eels cover, my room is painted in eels colors, i have every piece of clothing imaginable with an eels logo on it.
Finally the most tragic thing about being an eels fan is saying these words : " next year we will kill it"
And ive been saying this for nearly 20 years!!!!! .. ...please win a premiership and put me out of my misery!

Tragic: I constantly go "THERE'S HINDY!" like a 7 year old every single time his face is on TV or in the paper - even if its just in the background.
