Poor bomber isnt coming out of all this looking very professional.
The guy was thrust into one of the most critical jobs in world sport - Head coach.
In a sport that sells papers on rumour and controversey - the NRL.
And in a club which always carries a target for the media - the Sharks.
Taking over from a sinful coach who left baggage and probably wasnt much of a role model for that position in the time bomber was 2IC - the Flanno.
With a team/roster with its own set of challenges - chad moyza feefs et al.
Every story about bomber is preceeded with 'hes a top guy'. Thats never in question but man, he hasnt been shown in a great light these last few days.
"Pole position"..? Whats to be gained by making shit up? Is the media going to save your job if you build a glass fortress?
A one page document handed to dino about why he should keep his job??..What on earth could he put on there that everybody else isnt aware of. The board were 'underwhelmed'...oh dear.
Turning up to the meeting between dino and Orr when not invited shows the relationship with Orr. He obviously didnt trust him enough to handle it.
Chambers rang 3 times in one weekend and bomber hasnt picked up yet. This is a SOO star wanting to play for your club john. Bomber was told about it. Im sure he was busy but you just wouldnt read this story about Trent Robinson.
I hope bomber gets a gig where he can gain experience and develop his obvious skills but lm glad hes moved on from us.
