Greg Martin: "The Melbourne Storm only get about a 14,000 average, The Rebels are averaging 16-17,000 every game".

Martin: "See you get all those Kiwis and they'd rather support rugby than league...they'd been supporting the Storm and now they go..'Christ we've got ourselves a team'"

It was a big wank session on how good the Melbourne Rebels are going and these tossers were saying they were drawing better crowds than the Waratahs and Storm.

Nothing like the facts hey guys.

It's a joke, it takes 1 minute to check those facts on this internet thingy. Having said that, Gibson probably has no idea what it is and won't ever try to figure it out until the Bears are reinstated...

As for Martin, the best I can say about that twerp is that his name rhymes with fartin'..

I'd say there still a bit of novelty value with the rebels. The storm would play more games in year so total figure would still be greater for the storm. Let's not forget TV figures as well.

I didn't notice what you did, but have noticed over the past year or so Kent and Billy having a few swipes at each other.

Yeah, he is Ricky's mouthpiece. I could never understand his hate for Manly, then he admitted last year he is a North Sydney fan. It cleared up why he is so butt hurt :lol:

Really? I don't mind Billy, I think he has a pretty sharp wit. Oh well, different strokes I guess.

Agreed though, the show needs journos with balls (not that Crash muppet..."this is a lovely story"). The show has never been the same without Chippy.

I noticed that AFL nuffie sitting with his back to Kent too..I thought it was pretty unprofessional,whether he hated his guts or not..

Kent is a goose,but the clown from Melbourne was even more pointless & boring than the South Australian imbecile they had on earlier in the year..

I'm a Billy fan too..I like the everyman touch he adds to the panel,& his sense of humour..

Mike is getting pretty senile nowdays though..But he was always a bit of a pain in the arse..

Doesnt appear that way, but i do. I like magazine type sports shows with hosts who have a clue. Alot of of the sports shows have hosts with NFI....like the Roast with Tim Gilbert as host - clueless.
With Gus and Voss and MG for his "human" element it was good....and with TK to take the piss out of.
Now it is a f**king mess.
