This is my Johnny Depp tribute thread. He makes good movies great, and bad movies watchable. Therefore, he boasts not a single crap movie in his entire career- a feat no other actor in the world can lay claim to. Depp is the greatest. Plus he is sexy, and I say that as a strict heterosexual.

but I could be biased on this one ;-)

Bias or not though he is certainly one of the better character actors in hollywood - and he has a knack for finding great roles (if not always great movies).

Edward Scissorhands was the worst movie i have ever seen ever.. It ranks up there with tron.

I can't believe anyone could fail to enjoy Tim Burton's haunting fable of tolerance, loneliness and love; and as they say: "Every fairy tale is a magic mirror which reflects aspects of our inner world". Depp's monster evolves into the most "human" character in a cold, soulless world. Reminiscent of great silent film stars like Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin, Depp quietly conveys his character's state of bewilderment and longing with a remarkable repertoire of creative body movements and subtle but touching facial expressions. Depp gives the film its ever-tender and breakable heart. Excuse me I have something in my eye.
