Reminiscent of great silent film stars like Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin, Depp quietly conveys his character's state of bewilderment and longing with a remarkable repertoire of creative body movements and subtle but touching facial expressions.

The rules of plagiarism, or "strategic paraphrasing" as I prefer to call it, state that you can safely use up to three sentences of someone else's work. The odds of being found out are very slim, and even if you are, there's no jail time.

I think it's a toss-up between William Shatner and Adam West.

Both where the masters of understating a role.

Johhny Depp is good. Just saw Finding Neverland and he was excellent. Also enjoyed Depp in Sleepy Hollow.

For mine Rusty Crowe's role in a Beautiful Mind is better. That role should have won an academy award not Gluteus Maxiums in Gladiator.

Best actor of all time Gregory Peck, for Atticus Finch in to Kill a Mockingbird.

I'm a big fan of Mr Depp. And I agree, never been in a bad movie (from what I've seen anyway). Can completely make a film by himself, as only a few actors can. Nicolas Cage has done it a couple of times IMO also.

However, Ben Stiller, Will Smith, great actors??? :| :| :|

I think the thing I like about Depp is that he normally intentionally picks the type of roles that most actors wouldn't consider taking on. Very few of his characters are 'easy' roles - it would be very easy for him to fall on his face but I haven't seen it yet.
