WTF people, 15 posts and no mention of Brando.
He's a polarising one. Made some great movies (On The Waterfront, Apocalypse Now, etc.) but apparently was a complete arsehole later on in his career. Caused havoc on the set of Apocalypse Now by being constantly late for the shoot or not turning up at all.

Its good to have you back mate , was going to send you a private message a few months back but thought you might have left the site for good and you wouldn't have seen it. Hope things are ok with you now.
I had a potentially life threatening medical issue for nearly six months but I'm over the worst of it.....for now. In and out of hospital for most of the time but the treating doctors are stunned at the rate of recovery.

My life expectancy was anything from the end of the year to 15 years at the absolute maximum.

And no, it wasn't cancer.

Yes i was aware there was some sort of major medical problem going on but didn't know what it was and just wanted to check in on you to see how things were. Fingers crossed that the worse is behind for you now and as i said before it is good to have you back on here.

Yeah it was quite debilitating. Being unable to walk more than five metres without sitting down, pissing dark orange, shitting a pale tan colour and eating a miniscule meal every three or four days is not good.

On the medical side of things, I had a fluid buildup in the peritoneal cavity (abdomen) where blood vessels in the liver leak, resulting in the extraction of 10.1 kg and 6.4 kg of fluid in the space of two weeks.

My weight went down from the mid 80 kg to 67 kg, blood pressure dropped to 90/60 and body temperature was 1.5 to 2.5 degrees below normal.

The number of tests was endless. CT scans, MRIs, gastroscopies, ultrasounds, blood tests (full blood evaluation, liver function, international normalised ratio and a whole bunch of others) and so on. A liver biopsy is next.

Thankfully the specialists, doctors and nursing staff were impeccable in their service delivery.

Nah, he's no more polarising than some of your list (everyone knew what they were getting with him in AN) and he was a brilliant actor.

Ps: Glad you're better now.
