I feel the NRL justifies the expense of the bunker by directing the refs to refer to it as often as possible. You'd have to think with two touch judges and two refs there'd be nearly no reason to refer to the video unless a fan came on field and spear tackled both refs.

People love to shit in the bunker whenever a bad call is made. But in reality, it get most decisions correct and it is making those decisions a lot quicker than before. If we had no bunker or video ref system we would be complaining 100x more about bad decisions
