It all gets more crazy.

The incoming Dragons manager of football faces a tough first-up task - healing the rift between star forward Tyson Frizell and the struggling club.

Phil Gould is favourite to take on the role after helping the Dragons conduct their end-of-season review after yet another under-performing season by the Big Red V.

The club quashed rumours that Frizell, their most dynamic forward, wanted out of the club mid-season.

But Wide World of Sports has learned that Frizell is intensifying his bid to get out of the final year of his contract in 2020.

The Blues State of Origin forward believes a new club will take his game to the next level and he is also upset about the way in which the Dragons handled the Jack de Belin sexual assault case.

Dragons officials are trying to smooth the waters - but it may prove too difficult a task.

This comes as no surprise and objectively speaking, Frizell is absolutely right about the club's handling of the DeBelin fiasco.
So if we lose Frizell our pack becomes even more fragile and the exodus of talent continues.
It's no coincidence that Frizell's probable departure coincides with Widdop's departure as he can see the writing on the wall.
St. George don't need to hire a "Manager of Football".
They need to sack McGregor and hire a FG standard coach.

Club (and specifically Mary's) handling of the JDB matter was horrific and far more concerning to me than any on field performances. Whoever decided keeping him around ALL YEAR for training deserves an uppercut.

Imagine how uncomfortable the working environment was for everybody involved.

JDB and Friz were photographed at an end of season player-only social event with another 8 or 9 players including Kurt Mann. While this doesn't squash a rift - it suggests that it may be BS.
Based on that, logic would suggest the title of this thread is more accurate.

If true , then it is indeed a shame and also a huge black eye for the Joint Venture .

I could rattle on and on about their shortcomings as a decisive and success driven organization , but at the end of the day they simply do not care - not one iota.

Should the man leave I will wish him the very best of good fortune , unfortunately he will not be the last .

SACK MARY - SACK THE BOARD - SACK THE WHOLE BLUUDY LOT OF THEM !

Everyone except the Board can see it.

Isn’t it amazing, you were once ridiculed for your opinions, now you are applauded, even worshiped. Ok that last one was too far, but you get my drift

So easy to see through this fraud - he never had the credentials. Need to turn a blind eye to all performance indicia to support this bloke.

Yes I was vilified - from 2014 onwards. Unfortunately most fans live in false hope. But real hope is based on the solid foundations a club builds for success. Our club seems to sabotage performance. Just extraordinary.

If the friz wanting out story is BS, then it's interesting that nine is reviving it again, in light of Gould possiblby getting the HOF job at Saints.

Could be a convenient first feather in Goulds cap if he does "resolve" this "situation" as his first order of business...

Posing for photos doesn't really tell much.
The unknown factor is the influence of the partners.

Come on Miller , your not that naive. You can bet your last dollar that the board can see it , however it would appear that they have their own agenda.

Whether that is because of the dollar and cents situation with the J.V.’s finances or something that runs deeper within
the organization itself .

Either way they are completely aware of that mans lack of ability in all facets as a true rugby league coach . And their awareness is what makes the situation not only intolerable , but also bordering on criminal negligence.
