Best thing about Far From Home is JK Simmons is back

That is all

The amount of plot twists they have you’d be forgiven if D&D wrote the script. I’m surprised Spider-Man didn’t turn heel and burn London

What's the go with Mary Jane? Geez, with Ariel, Little Orphan Annie, Jimmie Olsen and countless others it looks like gingas are being erased from pop culture! The gingerasure, if you will.

Spider-Man was lame. Another quasi-Iron Man movie where every plot point has to do with Stark, even Mysterio. Good to know Stark created a global defence system that can kill people through misunderstandings too.

The MCU seems to really hate that Spider-Man has a secret identity.

Spawn of the devil - lefties (kack handers) should be erased as well.

I feel like your primary reason to watch is so that you can complain.

Oh right cause I'm not allowed to watch an MCU movie and do anything other than masturbate over it.
Where did I say that? I was merely making a comment on what I thought was behind your motivation in watching it. FYI - I've never watched an MCU movie with the intention of masturbating. ;)

Spiderman FFH was a massive drop off compared to homecoming.

Missed his wise ass humor.

Far From Home was great. The movie was enjoyable and even as a Spiderman fanboy, I did not see the plot twist until maybe 3 minutes before it happened. The mid and post-credits scenes were really interesting (and slightly shocking considering the move which preceded them) and give you a pretty good idea of where Spiderman and Marvel/Avengers is heading.
Just saw this. Do you mean the Mysterio plot twist? My only knowledge of these characters are from the 90’s animated show so it was pretty obvious to me.
I really like Mysterio kicking the elementals ass, cool action, but knew what was coming.
Still enjoyed this one.

Saw FFH. Was awesome. Jake G was great as Mysterio. Loved the mind f**kery he put Spiderman through mid-movie.

Also just announced is that Taika Waititi is returning to direct Thor 4, which makes Thor the first MCU character to have 4 solo movies

A few people annoyed that it’s gonna cause problems with a live action Akira film he was working on...

TBH I was hoping he would make another smaller local film before going back to the MCU.

I saw some speculation that this Thor film will be a 2 part cross over with Guardians volume 3. Which kinda makes sense as Waititi and Gunn are similar in tone.

So maybe Adam Worlock to be the antagonist across both films??

Given now endgame ended that'd make sense.

I thought warlock was a good guy?

Yeah... that’s why I put antagonist rather than out and out villain... :joy::joy:

I think there’s a bit behind it as Guardians of the galaxy 3 has been pushed back with Gunn not able to start work on It until he’s done with Suicide Squad 2...

I think the original plan was for GOTG3 to come out in 2020 but with the Gunn being booted, rehired and now attached to SS2 they had to push GOTG3 to 2021/22.

So this way Waititi brings them in to the next Thor which would somewhat bridge the gap a little between endgame and the next guardians.

It keeps them relevant I guess...

I guess we are going to see how accurate all the scuttlebutt is on Sunday when Marvel Studios runs its Hall H panels at SDCC.

I’m assuming it’s gonna run through what’s happening in phase 4.

Marvel Studios panel in about 30mins... lots of talk we will get good looks at the new Disney+ shows, Wandavision, Falcon & Winter Soldier and maybe the Loki show.

I’m hoping we see a full list of what’s coming in phase 4.

I didn’t realise that D23 was in a month... I thought we were in an off year as they do it every 2nd year...

So they may leave any of the real big stuff for the in-house expo.

Blade has been announced... will be played by Mehershela Ali... so I guess it’s now official the Netflix series are not part of the MCU.... as he was cottonmouth on Luke Cage.

So has Fantastic 4
X-Men
Black Panther 2
Captain Marvel 2
