It was a fun movie, great jokes. I can appreciate good jokes in movies and tv shows but usually I’ll just exhale through my nose and smile maybe. The jokes in this movie actually made me laugh
Especially the Gambit dialect coach joke lol
I’m glad they didn’t make that movie
I thought his wife Blake would be Ladypool, that would’ve hilarious

And ofcourse the Wolverine mask was epic. Finally got to see that on the big screen and was well worth it

Plot was dogshit, let’s be honest. If they had a better plot this could’ve been a classic.

Pretty much all over the internet now, and is listed on IMDB, that Blake Lively did in fact play Ladypool.

They should’ve showed her face. I guess she just voiced the character rather than being in the actual suit

Apparently their kids are kidpool and babypool.

In the film they did say ladypool was pregnant but you can’t tell
Maybe the real joke was his wife was pregnant during filming and could only voice the character

Geez I don't know. As someone who is married to a swiftie, I've seen plenty of current footage of her, and she looks tight in her costumes.
I actually thought if she was going to pop up it might be as Dazzler, either recasting Halston Sage from Dark Phoenix or as a variant.

Deadpool and Wolverine great fun to watch. Favourite cameo was Gambit and loved the Evans switcheroo. As mentioned the plot was a bit thin and I thought less time would be spent in the Void. Seeing Hugh again just makes me want him to keep going around as Wolverine, not sure there’s great odds of that happening though.

Doom in the comics was iron man at one point so there is a connection there

I think that’s an RDJ call rather than Feige or Marvel
He has said in interviews that’s he’s done with the iron man character
Plus playing villains is more fun for actors, so that may they appeal to him

I actually saw a John Campea video about this when it was a rumour about this earlier in the week..



Initially I thought similar to you… I’d rather they start afresh with this character… especially since Doom is my favourite Marvel villain from the comics… with his nation of Latveria I think it’s a character that deserves to be fleshed out much like Black Panther and Wakanda was… but I just can’t see much of that if you just make him a Stark Variant.

But the more I’ve thought about it the more I actually think they could make it work and actually it could be a masterstroke.

Hear me out… F4 comes out in a year… and from what we’ve seen it looks like its based in a different universe in a technologically advanced futuristic looking 1960’s time period. We also know the villain is Galactus.

The way I’d do it… I would have a variant of Howard Stark over the course of the film have a bad falling out with them and end up with some countess from Latveria.

Then have a post credit scene where a bitter Howard Stark is in Latveria plotting his revenge against the F4 and you have it ending with the sight of countess pregnant…

That’s my vision for it anyway… lol

Lost in all the RDJ returns hype… to me the bigger deal from the Marvel panel today was the Russo’s returning… it’s been abit of an open secret the last few weeks but it’s massive for the MCU I think.

That’s actually not bad
The issue with that though is his name will still be Stark and not Von Doom

I hope they don’t go with the characters just pretending its a different person altogether with only someone like deadpool joking “hey you look exactly like Tony Stark”

Yeah, I agree 100%. Thats what I meant. It’s RDJ as Tony Stark that people would love more of, not just RDJ himself. I’m happy to be proven wrong though if they can take the story work.
