I'm basing it on what I've heard. Duh.
Compared to other series' production, casting, schedule it is rushed.

Random thoughts:

Cap America TWS is amazing. It sets intriguing future events up in the MCU and Agents of shield is already improving drastically because of it.

The amazing spiderman 2 is about 20 mins too long. Its not a very good movie imho. Its got its moments but a few things in it are just plain bad.

Batman v Superman. . I have no expectations of this. Ill watch it but at the moment it seems the director and studio are biting off more then they can chew.

Theres a lupin iii trailer out. Looks ok.

Days of future past, considering the directors controversy it might be his last helmed xmen movie.

They start filming the marvel Netflix series soon.

Antman is just about to start filming.

How can the casting, production and schedule be rushed?
It doesn't come out for 2 years! Sounds like plenty of time to get their casting, production and schedule in order.

Their announcement of the 2015 release date was obviously rushed, that's why they moved it back. But at them moment it seems they are trying to set up a world with all these character in it, without it being a Justice League movie. Kind of like what Amazing Spider-Man 2 did with Rhino, I'm sure these extra characters won't have much screen time.

Which is exactly my point, you actually dont know much and are making pretty big assumptions

They still have 2 years until release date. Not sure how it can be viewed as rushed

I'd say because they're introducing so many major DC characters in the one movie (it seems)

Everyone wants them to do a JL movie like the Avengers was built up. Each major character having their own movie and then culminating into the one.

Why does it have to be done the same way as Marvel?
Good on them for doing it differently. Hope it works.

well maybe DC will introduce them in JL then do stand alone films ?

Suppose they could.

I hope they stop with the re-inventing of characters though. Batman has been done once too many now with this film. Green Arrow is probably at its best now. Superman too.

marvel are starting to look over there shoulder

At what? 2 films?

Of course it doesn't have to be done the same way as Marvel. The point is they are doing all this just to compete with The Avengers. So they are rushing every character possible to make a Justice League film as quickly as possible. That's the bad part about it. Not that they aren't doing the exact same method as Marvel.

For example, introducing Wonder Woman in a movie about Superman and Batman. Where is she going to fit? Is it going to have her origin story? Is she just going to appear out of nowhere? Or just a cameo? Wonder Woman should have her own movie.
Then, there's Batman. Rebooting Batman so soon after his last movies just screams 'rushed'. Especially considering he will be introduced as the secondary character in Superman's movie.
Then of course there' the fact they have about 3 movies worth of cast members shoved in. Not to mention some of the awful casting, that looks like most of the characters will be 'reinterpreted' instead of being their classic roles (Gadot, Eisenberg especially).
And at the same time they have TV shows about Green Arrow, Flash and Gotham that they don't seem to have a clue whether or not it will tie in.

And I really don't get why Superman and Batman have to fight.

It's clear they didn't have a plan when they rebooted Green Lantern and Superman. Then when those movies were received poorly-mediocre it seems they suddenly thought 'oh shit, Marvel's way out in front, we have to do something quick!'

The point is they shouldn't be worrying about Marvel. Try and improve on Man of Steel first, then worry about Batman, Wonder Woman and the rest.
