The violence and grittiness felt like it was taken straight out of the comic and they cast the best Punisher ever unlike Dolph Lungreen and the guy that looks like he's from Cheers.

And who cares about the storyline. Punisher shoots thugs, takes down Don at the end, boom. Done.

I'll see it, but I bet it's a darker, grittier reboot that is from the original comics and not the cartoons.

Poor story, poor acting and poor effects

The tone and Ray Park were the only thing they got right. Pity they f**ked everything else

BTW, movies arent supposed to feel like comics. They rarely work when thats what they go for

Just saw Cap 2.. wow.. take one part Bourne Identity. . Add Cap.. add great visuals and you get imo the best marvel movie made. This is their dark knight imo. I personally think its better but then again ive always liked cap as a character better. 5/5 for me. The reviews weren't wrong this movie does knock it out the park

Yep saw it last night. Very engaging and entertaining movie. Time just whizzed past. Well worth seeing.

Just saw Captain America 2. It's not better than the Dark Knight. It's good, but it's no where near better.

It has great twists, all the way till the end. Lots of action, lots of explosions. And Black Widow/Scarlett Johansen is great. Love to see more of her character.

Can't stand Black Widow. The most bland and cliched character in the Marvel movies along with Hawkeye. There's much better things to say after a fight than 'oh I think you should ask out this girl'. Hopefully Scarlet Witch (a much more interesting character) takes over the major female role in the MCU.
Really enjoyed the rest of the movie. I'm hoping Falcon and the Winter Soldier replace Hawkeye and Black Widow in the Avengers. Great characters.
I'd rate it 7.5/10. They showed a lot of great stuff about Cap dealing with his past and fitting into the present that I hoped would be in The Avengers. I really hope he becomes the major focus of the next Avengers, rather than Iron Man.

Winter soldier was good, very good actually.

Comparisons to The Dark Knight are a fair bit off though. While the tone is much darker than the other big Marvel films, it didnt have the same presence of character. It would have been great to hear more from Bucky

Winter Soldier was pretty good, best stand alone Avenger movie imo. But not in the same league as the Dark Knight.

Btw, Chris Evans did say he'll be taking a break from Marvel films, so the after credits scene with the Winter Soldier was probably hinting at something in regards to that.

Chris Evans signed on for 6 marvel movies but Sebastian Stan aka The Winter Soldier signed of or 9 so I dare say the torch will be passed in either Captain America 3 or the third Avengers movie.
