Unlike you, when negotiating a contract I would never let emotion get invovled. It is a business decision. Pure and simple. If Peachey will play for less then pay him less. It might not be very nice but we aren't living in land of fairy floss here. You must take every advantage.

Im gonna throw my hat in the ring here with a very simple question ....how many games do we win without Peachey?
The answer is as clear as day....peachey must stay!

I don't know too much re: the payments but from what I've heard he isn't asking for more money. To me that stuff is besides the point anyway , all I want to see is the team win and if it means giving Peach an extra 40 and winning compared to getting two cheap gonna be's , we'll I know who I'd pick.

I had a queens mate of mine say to me that he hates when we play each other because every time Peach gets the ball he thinks he will score or set one up.

His game has changed over the years but that happens to most players as they age. He used to make more breaks but not set up as many as he does now.
Anyway I hope he stays I've seen enough of our players leave with a bad taste in their mouths over the past few years.
Im not being sentimental either because like I said I think Peach is our best fullback option.I'd even try him at 5/8 which I have a feeling might just happen sooner than later.
