There may have been more to the Lewis issue, but Bennett has never been afraid to make the tough calls, and the club benefits from that, i would be last to see Peach go, but i also look at the future as well, Reefy if his form is down next year, how would you like to see Peach in PL with a few hundred people watching it wouldnt be nice, U would remember in Gavin Millers last year when Beetson was coaching he was running around in reserves, i went to every home game that year, and its not a good feeling just a few hundred watching a shark great go around in reserves, that fate may become to Peach

That is my point Reefy we take risk of signing him, for goes bad he is in PL, then retires before season is out, we have

1. Lost our money
2. Could have signed younger player,

its tough but its the real issue, did u see Gavin Miller play in reserves

JIMBO.. Wait he is hated not respected

Nope, I'm envied...

My inner tubes are Bontrager X-lite 700 x 18c-25c, with 60mm presta valves. Much lighter than standard tubes, and very durable

Pfffft, that's lame. My inner tube says that his future at the Sharks is in grave doubt.

The word around the place is that Simmons will be fullback next year. I'd like to see Peach stay on though. He's got a year left in those tiring legs.

Well one would think if simmons is going to be fullback
then peach shoud retire now
or next year will just be another wasted year.
Well not wasted, but another"development"
year. Then Stevo is gone. Then we only have Noddy for 1 after that & he will be 30.
f**k this development shit off.
Let some other club do it.

what happens if forms drops badly next year and he may play PL,

Totally a question of IF but if's mean nothing. The argument is just as strong the other way - what is Peachey is our best player next year has a blinder and we win the NRL? If's justify nothing especially not to re-sign peach.

Again fate could go the other way too, risks have to be taken all the time that is agreed but a risk in keeping him on for another year (even two) could prove to be a vital one for us next year too. Peachey has been going great in attack this season I see no reason at all to not re-sign him. If he was totally sucking I would probably agree with you. True he may somehow (be some freak occurance) lose all his skill and talent and not even get more than half a dozen starts next year but odds on he'll do exactly the same for us next year as he's doing now.

Enough of this just re-sign him.
