The Cool Person Test...

I don't know who else does this, but I usually use music taste to assess peoples merits. So in an extension of that I decided to ask a bunch of questions (some are admittedly pretty obscure) to decide your collective worth as human beings. Nah, not really, I would like to see if there are any other music nerds here though.

Victor Wooten plays what for which group?

Nine Inch Nails have how many Halo (not the game) releases?

Frank Zappa's favourite Hard Rock song of all time?

Genesis' singer before Phil Collins?

Les Claypool's two most prominent side projects?

Name of Sigur Ros' first release?

Which Post Rock band did classical pianist Christopher O'Riley make his name by scoring for piano?

Cover art for RATM's eponymous debut?

What Guinness world record did DJ Shadow obtain for Endtroducing...?

Aphex Twin's real name?

Sinnerman was originally popularised by who?

Which song covered by Tool (Led Zeppelin orig.) contains the lyric 'We hold no quarter'?

Which contemporary female folk artist founded Righteous Babe Records?

Sage Francis is a what?

Which Zeppelin song off II is a self indulgent Bonham drum solo?

Drummer from Rush?

Who and who were brothers in Pantera?

Who from NWA is dead?

What album is 'The Next Episode' off?

Josh Homme's band before Queens of the Stone Age?

Bitches Brew was an album by who?

Which two bands did Dave Navarro play guitar for (saving himself only slightly from being the biggest douchebag ever born)?

Who was Jaco Pastorius?

Which is the only band to have 3 of the top 100 guitarists of all time as decided by Rolling Stone in it?

Bands of Mike Patton?

Explosions in the Sky make what type of music?

John Petrucci plays guitar for who?

Wow talk about getting carried away and self indulgent... I tried to make the latter questions easier.

Realistically, if anyone answers any of these questions they should join me in this thread being a douchebag and talking about music in a cliquey way.

Which is the only band to have 3 of the top 100 guitarists of all time as decided by Rolling Stone in it?

haha

I can honestly say I cannot answer any of those questions.

In fact the vast majority I have no idea who you are taking about.

Music is waste of time and money

The Pantera brothers are Darryl and Vinnie Paul.

The album cover for rage against the machine is a buddhist monk who set himself on fire in protest of something?

He still is in Tomahawk, their new album came out a couple of months ago.

He is also part of Maldoror, plus he did an album with the X-ecutioners and an album with Kaada and several albums with John Zorn (plus dozens of appearances on other albums). Oh and he has a new project that hes performing live (with a cd or dvd set to be release sometime) called Mondo Cane.

Nine Inch Nails have 24 halos with the 25th completed and set to be released in the near future.

The Tool song is 'no quarter'.

Aphex Twin is Richard D James.

Victor Wooten is a bass player in Bela Fleck and The Flecktones.

and yes, Kyuss do rock
