Its against the law to cause offence or menace if publishing indecent articles against consent nationally. Revenge porn laws in NSW are in?

Oh and Michael Slater's comments are a riot if you want to have a read, something about acting right in modern day society - is sex illegal now?
Slater talking about Moral responsibilities lol

this is surely the biggest overhyped story of the season. Big Deal. I wonder if Parramatta had not had so much trouble this year that it would even have made the news? Its like when there is drama somewhere, the smallest thing is "big news"

Travelling through Sydney airport saw the headline last night, such a beat up for an insignificant issue, the media in nsw really does hate the eels/NRL doesn't it?

So now he has pleaded guilty to possession I would expect the NRL to suspend him for AT LEAST as long as they suspended Pearce since what he did wasn't illegal.
We will now see if they are consistent.

parra should just cut their losses.
Pull their pants down & bend over
stand him down for the rest of the year
piss off the board
start again next year.
If they fight any of this shit they will just continue to be front page canon fodder

They aren't the same issues.
Pearce's involved beastiality and disrespect of women, Corey is just a drug lord.
This ends it, unless he appeals which I would advise him to do. Why the conviction? He is 25 and a clean skin.

100%.

If Pearce gets 6 weeks for committing no crime, what will Norman receive?

When was it known by the Eels that he would be pleading guilty? Should have been stood down immediately if he was always going to plead guilty.

Appeals something he pleads guilty for?

There was no bestiality involved and "disrespect of women" is subjective and not in and of itself a criminal act.

For the record, I don't really care what happens to Norman but if the NRL are fair dinkum, they cannot suspend Pearce for 8 weeks for breaking no laws and then turnaround and not punish Norman for pleading guilty to a crime.

I doubt there will be a NRL imposed suspension which will only fuel my belief that embarrassment to the NRL is the sole metric used by the NRL to punish players.

Pearce's did not involve bestiality at all.

If you mimic stabbing someone are you charged with attempted murder???
