Oh and "well done" to the relevant players for playing to the refs call .Especially if it was an effective ploy .

It's quite obvious in this thread that Flanagan will never silence some of the doubters on this forum.

Each to their own.

I for one can see we are a more confident and effective team than the past two years of rubbish that was dished up as football.

There is still a shyte load of improvement needed no doubt.

But out of the first 5 games this season only one of them we have been non competitive.

Every other game we have either won or had a great chance of winning.

Now that's a big change from the past two seasons hands down.

Improvement on the stagnation of the Stuart style is not the be all though

His bench use is undoubtably problematic and though I have patience the halves are not producing right now

Flanagan's major learning curve as I see it is his bench rotation. He has to get the balance right as it is a big part of the tactical side of a game.

The halves I agree have been grinding the gears but I think with a bit more match practice they'll get it right.

The bench use is the worst in the NRL.
The rotation of bench players, keeping the entire squad interested & in the picture, is the worst in the NRL
The halves attacking style, as key point indicators show, is the worst in the NRL by a country mile.
The attack, is the worst in the NRL, as is clearly evident by our ad-hoc non structured play. EVery other coach has his team attacking weak points & targetting field location to execute set plays.
Flanagan has an Origin class forward pack & an above average backline, next to no injuries. He has no excuses.
Stephen Kearney, Robert Stone & Anthony Griffin are a long way in front of him & are all building to a bigger picture.

That would have to be by far the best performance by a Sharks team in years. The players showed us all last night what it really means to pull on a Sharks jersey. They played with a passion never seen during Dickys time as coach.

I doubt they can play like that week in and week out, but Flanno has a blueprint which will eventually get us to the top.

Those in the know, will tell you much the players love Flanno, and last night was as much for him as it was for the fans!

No ego and no tantrums!

Love watching the team go round this year. Its obvious the players have more confidence and are happy with their coach. Unlike last year!

Those death riding the team will never see it. They love it when we lose, yet claim to be Sharks fans. At least I was happy when we won under Dicky!

yes, they are lining up to re-sign, compounded by that winning feeling each week
