The players showed us all last night what it really means to pull on a Sharks jersey. They played with a passion never seen during Dickys time as coach.

Those in the know, will tell you much the players love Flanno, and last night was as much for him as it was for the fans
we keep silencing the doubters

and really showed that post-sticky passion last night

Flanno keeps getting these guys to perform, despite the odd hiccup(warriors).I hate losing at the best of times, more so when refs have such an influence, but if they keep playing like they did last night,my season ticket is worth every cent.
And having 15,000 plus there, the vast majority Sharks supporters ,is a one fingered salute to those who continue to say the Sharks can't hook a crowd.
The silence was deafening when the Eagles scored at the death.

And how many of those 15000 do you think will be back next home game?

We'll be lucky to get 10K against the cowboys.

not deafening i had some manly fans right near me and trust me one of the blokes was very luck i did not punch his f**king lights out for being a absolute merkin about it getting up in peoples faces including kids.... if i had been drinking he would have bled, i was lucky i refrained from doing it.

It was half the reason i had the sh*ts all the way home but kids dont know what it means so dont bring them into it....

Funny...your comment is the same reason I won't take my kids and my mates won't take their kids back to the swamp = $$$$

Oh well, does this mean your premiership is derailed for yet another season?

Karma much??

Flano goes alright - you've had far worse

our poor discipline and ball handling compounded by our inability to play for 80 minutes cost us the game - not the ref's

we were pretty lucky in all honesty not to cop 4 penalties for blatant blocking

in fact it was so blaTant we will be targetted next game by the refs

Didn't suggest we would get those sort of crowds each week there.
With the Cowboys depends what day its on,monday night sub 10,000.sat night 10,000 plus.Much the same as against the Titans and Warriors, meaning much the same as a few other clubs would get.
At least we know if the team plays well,we will get a damn side more casuals, against the more traditional Sydney sides.
BTW don't believe we would have got anymore playing at sutho.

Frenzy.

How many of the 15,000 were kids in the dancing and their parents?

Every time that's on there is an artificially inflated attendance. Most of them won't go to another game.

Were the dancing kids taken into the count? Did the parents and kids in the main just come for the dance, and b... off once it was over?or come in a mini bus with teachers and nick off?
Did the club make money on the night?
How many Manly fans came? Not very many by all accounts.
I never knock promotion of any sort, regardless of how small the results may end up.
The real test will be against traditional Sydney sides.

Like a couple of flaws in Flannos coaching - so be Toyota Park

Caterring to mind is one of their biggest problems
People had to queue in lines that took some fans as long as the first half to get served (behind the stand where you cant see any action)- and then I heard, that not long after, the outlet ran out!
My own experience was to head for the large Red Rooster van parked near the
Eastern gate, when we arrived, during 2nd half of NYC. There were no signs up on the van that advertised what was available and at what price. After being in 1 of 4 queues for approx 5 mins, my wife ordered 2 small chips, 3 chick strips and a chicken burger. When the assistant asked my wife for $35(WTF) , she said there must be some mistake, and when this price was verified by the assistants boss, we told them they could eat it, and went and queued for 10min for a pie!
I know we all are silly enough to pay 'overs' at footy games, etc, but faarg - You'd have spent a cool hundred, if youd taken your family to Red Rooters for tea!!

So next game ,being aware of this, Sharks should take care themselves and be in the refs ear straight away at slightest sign of this tactic from the oposition .. If the refs will be primed for it , it should be a good opportunity to train the refs to make calls indiscriminantly rather than with preconceived notions...
