Hey I wasn't dissing them, I quite like the odd dose of Manowar, I think most anyone who's into metal does. But you've got to admit they're cheesy, not to mention a tad homerotic.

Glam bands had the best Riffs and best Lyric's

As for the drums??.....all glam bands had double base with double kick!!....they where the ones who made them so popular.

Alex Van Halen had 4 base drums when they where in their glam stage.

Ron, I know that glam bands use double kick but it's nowhere near as dominant in the drumming style as it is in thrash or death metal. And as for riffs glam's got them but theyre not the sort of bludgeoning, remorseless monsters you get in the heavier genres.
