Interesting that Penrith are apparently still getting $300M for a new stadium in the deputy leader's electorate.

Also, going by the comments section for the article, there's no public support, so a bit hard for the NRL to argue this.

TBH, it was always ridiculous

they needed to play hardball better on making olympic park actually good.

now that thats not happening, the GF should be up for sale to QLD, Perth and Auckland etc. this is a business.

I think survival and moving are different things.

I tend to agree with Ozzi - can't see us staying there if we dont do some work on that stadium. Doesn't mean we wont survive, just play some games elsewhere. It is in desperate need of work.

Curious why the sudden change of mind, it seems pretty clear that many thought this was done.

my thought on this is that we are currently losing out playing at a 12k capped venue with minimal corporate facilities.

we need to either jam in as many corporate spots as we can to the current place, or play half our games at the sfs to offset shark park
