I was really disappointed with him, I remember he was such a workhorse at Melbourne and when I found out he was signing with Newcastle I thought he would be a valuable asset. Instead he just played like the dead-wood that Brian was right to give the arse, and is now best remembered for his public spat about being told to look elsewhere for a contract.

Among a myriad of pathetic Telegraph using-public-sympathy-to-push-their-bullsh*t-agenda campaigns, this stands out as the most pathetic ever in my mind.

Lowrie has actually gone ok. He's back starting in first grade this week, and even though he's no superstar he's a passionate little fella who always gives his best. Unlike some of our side.
