He took a really decent workman like club that was making finals and turned it into a head case at Cronulla. He would be the last coaching the league i would want near my side. He has everything out of order. He shops for big names with no value, he undermines his players in the media, he cant coach attacking football. When it all goes wrong he gets upset with the side and it snowballs. The only thing i am unsure about will be the date in which he has a falling out with Hayne.

The only thing he was good at in origin was getting a fair deal for home games....the rest was laughable. He picked a highly mobile side then proceeded to do nothing but belt it up the guts against QLD, didnt put on a single ruck move with a faster player against QLD the entire series, he is a fool.

The eels will be a bottom 4 team this year but if they can do some decent recruiting over the next couple of years then they might be able to make the 8 in a few years.

Yes it is only a trial but their roster remains to be the worst in the comp and they recruited badly again. Trials are usually a place where teams who are looking to turn a corner after a bad season come out and play enthusiastically to try and set a standard e.g Roosters, Tigers this year, but they still displayed the same inept crap they served up last year.

The story about Cronulla was a made up lie, it never happened. Had Cronulla wanted Brown, I am certain he would currently be coaching the Sharks.

Secondly, Cronulla couldn't afford to sack him even if they wanted to do so - they had no money to make those types of decisions.

Ricky Stuart walked out on the club, he wasn't pushed, back stabbed or undermined. He just walked out.

The irony is that he bases his Coaching foundation on loyalty, unity, trust etc etc.

To his credit he set up some brilliant underage programs and pathways.

His recruiting is absolutely diabolical.

I also hold the view that he will walkout when the pressure gets too much.

Were you there?

The tigers used 25 players including a bloke that's only ever played Harold Matthews and sg ball. Benji, farah, anasta and lawrence went off after 50mins. Potter even put a ressrve grade prop/second rower on the wing the last 15 for shits and giggles. Parra played their main players for the whole game.

We might not make the 8 but to say we took it more serious is ridiculous, it was the other way round if anything.
