I still remember when my 13 Year Old dog passed away, they told us when we first bought her that she was a maltese something or other, turned out she wasn't what they told us.

She had a stroke a week before her 14th birthday in January 2010, never cried so much in my entire lift. I stayed up till 3am holding her while she cried after her stroke, she couldn't even stand properly, tears pouring down my face. I wish that pain on nobody. Dad and I took her to the VET the next morning, I had about 30mins sleep the whole night. She didn't come home...

That happened with us, we were told our dog was part shi tzu, which seems like rubbish, pretty sure she was part fox terrier and who knows what other combo
