Because the sin bin doesn't actually go off the game clock.

Yeah the time doesn't start until the ref blows time on, but any further stoppages have no affect on the sin bin.
This doesn’t seem accurate. Half time for instance clearly pauses a sin binning, so don’t see why other time off situations wouldn’t be the same?

Well that's something to look at.

Was time called off anytime during the sin bin period?

If so, there is a chance it wasn't taken into consideration by the timekeeper, whoever that might be.

I believe it’s a send off now. Refer my Reggie’s video above
It's an automatic sin-bin. The refs can make a decision to send players off if they feel it is warranted, which Perenara deemed necessary in Scott's case (he threw at least 3 punches and it would have been more if other players hadn't interjected).

yes
that's what they'll look at , if that is the case then the time keeper has f**ked up
I understand both clubs probably run their own clock too , they may have argued with the official time keeper , but hes the one who determines when the binned players are good to go back on

Manly won't lose their points over this
their players had been given permission to re enter the field by an official

There was a snippet as the players went back on of a Melbourne official yelling at the sideline nrl guy that he had totally “stuffed it up”. Looks like Melbourne knew straight away of the nrl’s incompetences

The burning question on everyone's lips is what did Walker say?

I know he was probably at him from the start of the game but he obviously said something at that moment to provoke him to start throwing lefts and rights like he was on the card at a Madison Square Garden boxing event, Curtis Scott has issues now.. everyone seen that and now everyone knows he's susceptible to a bit of a bait
