Yeah the time doesn't start until the ref blows time on, but any further stoppages have no affect on the sin bin.

It's an automatic sin-bin. The refs can make a decision to send players off if they feel it is warranted, which Perenara deemed necessary in Scott's case (he threw at least 3 punches and it would have been more if other players hadn't interjected).I believe it’s a send off now. If so, there is a chance it wasn't taken into consideration by the timekeeper, whoever that might be.
