There was a snippet as the players went back on of a Melbourne official yelling at the sideline nrl guy that he had totally “stuffed it up”. Looks like Melbourne knew straight away of the nrl’s incompetences

Frank ponissi - Melbourne football manager

FWIW, I loved seeing walker get hit. Those two were at it all game and it’s a lesson for the young fella.

Not a good look for the game but it’s going to happen from time to time.

a human being made a mistake , how does that equate to the NRL being incompetent ?

The burning question on everyone's lips is what did Walker say?

I know he was probably at him from the start of the game but he obviously said something at that moment to provoke him to start throwing lefts and rights like he was on the card at a Madison Square Garden boxing event, Curtis Scott has issues now.. everyone seen that and now everyone knows he's susceptible to a bit of a bait

Walker is a lippy merkin and he’s good at getting under the skin.

He’s worse than Maloney at chewing your ear off apparently

Is the muppet user JamesRustle Still calling manly cheats over this?

Have the NRL released any kind of statement on all this yet?

Anyone worked out exactly why Dylan walker was sin binned?

Any Melbourne fan demanding that manly get docked points for this have become the ultimate hypocrite.

Exactly.

If the Storm weren’t stripped of the 2 points they got v Dragons after scoring from a play the ball after the full time siren, that NRL admitted was a f*ck up and which undisputably cost the Dragons the game, how could they strip Many of points for a f*ck up that had no impact on the result?

Lol cant handle it...how many players handle being king hit,,,so every player who mouths off and shoves someone should be king hit right?
I think you need to learn what a King hit is...

He was face to face being a hard man mouthing off and got smacked up thats not a king hit... Api on the other hand thats a king hit, dog shot lucky the merkin punches like a pillow...

To clarify.

How can you call manly cheats in this? Didn't see you respond to my post last night after your outlandish cheating claims.

I've seen the initial NRL statement blaming the clubs, but that statement said a review would be forthcoming, I was wondering if that had been released?

I'm still not sure why walker was binned?

Not sure how that’s relevant to a Dylan Walker poster?

Anyway - difference is one is an NRL officiating f**k up, the other is a cock up by a club official (as a storm fan I don’t think points should be docked, but a fine should apply)

Which club official made the error?
It was an NRL official, just like the Storm/Dragons one.

Agreed. Under the circumstances the onus was on the Storm official so fine the merkins.

I’m sure I’ve read that it’s the clubs responsibility to keep time of sinbins?

Anyway, I’m pretty uninformed as I was at the game with no real solid info to work from

Just watched the highlights.

If Scott gets sent off then how is Korisau, who threw a dog shot to the side of Scott's head, only worthy of a sin binning?
Scott threw the first punch so that it generally treated more seriously. He also threw a series of punches and didn't look like letting up if not for the intervention of others on the field. Api threw a single punch at a bloke that was in the process of punching his teammate. I don't see how the 2 could be seen as equal.
