I have no doubt they will win tomorrow. They only need 4.8 an over. If Langer and Hayden play like they did the other day, for 1 session, that will knock the RqRR down to around 3, whih if they bat well is very acheivable.

Well at some stage in history someone has to score over the 400 odd that is the record. If there was ever a better time than tomorrow is it. It is near impossible - but its not completely impossible.

The record was made by the West Indies in 2003 against us - not only is it possible but in modern contexts it has been done - not at the SCG, but records are made to be broken. I never thought any current Australian could better Lara's 375 run world record, but Hayden did.

It all depends - first session is crucial to Australia's hopes. The loss of more than one wicket will fatally wound our chances of winning.

When you consider how quickly the Indians scored yesterday and the fact Australia has made 340 in 50 overs in a One Day International, it isn't impossible to win the match.

If they do manage it I would dare to say it would be the greatest comeback in the history of Test cricket. I don't know of any team that has failed to defend a first innings of 705 - it will be tough.

Warne wouldn't have made much of a difference, he averages well over 50 against India.

He wouldnt have taken many wickets, but at least he couldve put pressure on the batsman, and I dont he wouldve got belted all over the paddock.

The big difference is definatley McGrath. He wouldve made a difference if he played.

They have to put pressure on Kumble from the first ball tomorrow morning as he is the bowler most likely to end any hope they have of acheiving such a mammoth total. Under pressure Ganguly tends to play defensively and if they are able to get on topp of Kumble early he may be inclined to open the field up allowing the one's and two's as opposed to the Australians having to look for the boundary for their runs. The pitch is still playing well and if Hayden and Langer can get away to a good start in the morning - much the same as the start from day three a serious challenge can be mounted.

India scored at 4.9 yesterday, the difference is they have Kumble. At the moment it's early days but we are on track. Score is 0 for 60 lots of boundries coming, the Indians are showing some signs of panic.
