i watched a first up win for the mighty Hammers and enjoyed it immensely..

Then i looked at all the other scores around the place and noticed Leeds scum got flogged and enjoyed that immensely as well..

Was a great night all round really..

Some interesting Carling Cup results this morning. I know fans of top 4 sides see the cup as a joke, but for the rest, it actually is an important comp because it is a way into Europe, as Spurs found out last year.

Newcastle beat Coventry 3-2 in extra time
Hartlepool (league 1) knocked out west brom 3-1
another league one side, Northampton knocked out Bolton 2-1
and best of all, Leeds United put the cleaners through Crystal Palace 4-0 (nicky ward got hooked)

Accrington sit in 7th in League 2. Very early days but they have been playing well.

2 wins from 3.

They go away to Gillingham next, very tough away trip.

I hope they do well this season. It would be amazing if Accrington got promoted.

Brighton & Hove Albion a great start in League One. 2 wins 2 draws and into the second round of the Carling Cup. Good Start.

They've made a slow start in the league.

Not the only one though.

At look at the Championship table is interesting.

Derby at the bottom. Palace in the relegation zone.....

Thought I'd bump this after watching some of Derby/Charlton this morning. LOL @ Derby - Ruben Zadkovich playing as a central midfielder!!!!

Wolves are looking good for a direct promotion spot. Charlton 2nd from bottom in danger of the drop.....that'd be a big fall from grace.

Down in League, FMD, leeds are outside the playoff spots. Surely Gary Mac has to go. Bumble??
