The Footy Show 2015

You know the segment just prior to the "Kick for Money" segment towards the end of the show, where a contestant has to pick a person from the board and then answer a question (to win prizes)?

Well, tonight, all the pictures were of Erin Molan and some look-a-likes of her. Geez, she looked very shitty when they revealed the board of her photos. She likes to take the piss of other panellists look-a-likes, but obviously cant cop it in return.

2 of the worste team interviews ever-
"Who's ya bromance"
"Any bromance in camp"
"Who's ya bromance"
"Any bromance in camp"
"Who's ya bromance"
"Any bromance in camp"
And
"Aww were 12 metres up the street"
"Yeah were 21 metres up the street"

Wow! The continue to do those stories so well.

Hard to stay dry eyed during that piece.

Very brave to talk so soon.

Channeling Warne with his "how much piss you gonna drink tonight?" questions.

While the story on James Ackerman was certainly well-intentioned, the questions asked of the family were cringe-worthy. It doesn't take a genius to work out that the family were upset when they found out what happened, so why did Molan have to keep asking them how upset they are? Instead of being a tribute to him, the whole segment was shallow and empty and far too focused on getting tears out of his family members. If they want to try a serious story, get a serious journalist to do it.

Agreed.

There was another question towards the end of it, something like "Will you continue to mourn him/pay tribute to him" or something similar... WTF is that? What's the widow going to say one week after she loses her husband to that sort of inane question? "Ohhh, maybe for a few weeks, but after the grand final this year I reckon we can probably move on to be honest Erin..."

I really don't know how she continues to get the plumb gig there on the Footy Show... I reckon if I had to pick a song that best described her rise up the hosting ladder at channel 9, it'd be a certain song by Regurgitator... y'all know the one I mean.....

I honestly think Erin Molan's entire journalistic training involved watching episodes of Frontline without ever realising it was a satire.

Her efforts to essentially just try and make all his family and wife cry couldn't have been more crass if she started simply jabbing them with a stick

The most entertaining thing about Erin last night was watching her squirm at Konrad persistently creeping on her with Beau and Manu's encouragement
