Midfielders you may have forgotten about: Gerrard, Giggs, Keane, Scholes, Beckham, Ronaldo, Cantona, Carrick, Fabergas, Yaya Toure, Silva, Viera, Essien, Ballack, Anelka, Hazard, Mata.

Still, not a bad achievement by Fat Frank (thought his first was an own goal though).

Oh right, this is why I stopped posting here.

Two guys that aren't midfielders (Anelka and Ronaldo), three guys who have not been around long enough to even be in this dicussion (Mata, Hazard, Silva), 6 guys that are simply not as good and never were (Gerrard, Yaya, Vieira, Keane, Essien, Fabregas) and Ballack, who played his best football in Germany.

Cantona, Giggs and Scholes are the only ones you can make an argument for. And even then, it's still not going to be a very convincing one apart from bleating about how many times they won the league. And trophies are NOT how you judge individual players.
