People wet their panties over him because he came second in that stupid race. He was on the bench for reserve grade FFS

mate infact i havent heard of a race or seen him in one.I have followed him closely this year in NSW cup and he has played well this year like some others in the team, even though he was riddled with injuries i still hope he shows the tigers what he can do

He was never going to play NRL, just like every other b grade union player the club had signed in the past.

I understand that but i thought the point you were making was he was a B grader therfore he will always be a B grader ability wise. My bad.

He was only ever on the bench at the end of the year when returning from injury and still was not 100% He pretty much scored tries whenever he played including a patch of 7 or so in three or four games....he would have been very close to leading try scorer for th club despite missing half the season.... he had extended injuries twice in one year... his first in the game?

Hoe bout we give him a break?

We don't have an issue with him.

The bloke picking the NRL squad all year certainly did though.

Do we need Grant when he is 6'4,fast,good under the high ball, and not afraid to get or make a tackle? no because we have Tim Moltzen... lol...further proof why Sheens needs to be replaced!

If Grant is as good as you say he is how come other clubs arent chasing him? Clubs would kill for wingers like that, right? And hed be on a pittance with us. Im honestly asking as i have no idea why a guy with such a good skills listing would be unable to get a contract elsewhere. And screw it. Id prefer to see the guy play top level elsewhere if we're not going to do it.

He was ok and has the physical requirements to make it but let's be honest, he couldn't get a contract with nsw in union, the sport he has always played. People expecting him to be an nrl star let alone even play I the nrl aren't being realistic.

Ahh .. . the Grant debate.

I've never seen him play. Only seen his you tube videos.
But have had a few discussions with a fellow forumite that goes to watch him play.
Now that don't make me an expert, but let's not get too caught up in who thinks he knows what . . . . .

Grant deserves a chance just on the potential he shows.
He can run like the wind. Lote can't anymore.
He has a killer fend. Better than Lote's.
He may well have defensive issues. Just like Lote.
He is in the top 5 fastest NRL players. Unlike Lote.
He will run straight and hard. Just like Lote.

Korobiete was finally given a chance and was a smash hit.
I reckon that Grant would create the same fanfare as Marika.

He would be a revelation playing at fullback too. Not like Moltzen.

FFS, just give him a friggin go. Give him only half the chances that Moltzen was given, and the rest will be history.
