The future of woman's RL

Be Interesting to see what the NSWRL does with the comp format in 2024 as apparently the Harvey Norman Women's Premiership will run alongside the NRLW comp and be a Reserve Grade type comp like NSW Cup is for the NRL.

It will give the Women more opportunities to keep playing in a better level of comp than they might find in a local Women's comp for those that don't obtain a NRLW Contract and or want to keep playing when the Tarsha Gale Cup comp finishes.

Do they need an under 21 comps as well

2024 Pathways will be

Lisa Fiaola Cup Under 17's / Tarsha Gale Cup Under 19's / HNWP/ NRLW

They need all NRL clubs to be represented at NRLW

I cant see NRL clubs wanting to develop players just so Easts or Parra or St Merge can poach them

We not in a post Super League war world

These Jillaroos jerseys are glorious. I'd take that livery if i was an incoming NRL club. Also very high standard of play the women put on now. Way better than female soccer.

The kicking still leaves a lot to be desired but you watch a player like Tamika Upton and her timing and instincts are as good as anyone in the men’s game.

Better than half the halfbacks that's for sure.

100%. I much prefer the Jillaroos jersey to the Kangaroos.
The skill level is fantastic. I don't watch soccer (yes, even the recent women's soccer world cup), but I didn't hear anything too complimentary about the skill level.

The fact that many of the new international entrants ..and also the eternally emerging international entrants ...have a womens competition is great to see.

Kenya v Uganda in womens rugby league is scheduled for early December.

Let's hope the 150th anniversary of the code in 2045 ( that's just over 20 years from now) is a truly global affair for the women.

Can we please celebrate women. I'm a feminist and believe women aren't appreciated on this board. Can every member please show some love for all the females involved in league by posting a love heart in this comment section. This should weed out the bigots😂
