I think the current FRF of Dogs & Cronulla are better, maybe even Cowboys as well.
Again, people keep naming a couple good props. But I'm talking 5 and 6 deep.

People might say that's irrelevant but prop is the first place you're going to cop injuries. No other position needs depth more than Prop.
 Didn't Canberra spruke their superior front row a few years back (Shillington, Learoyd-Lahrs, Tilse, White) and look where that's got them.
Well yes at this stage any conversation about 2013 has to be based on potential and what ifs. But if it all comes together I can see us rolling over teams all game long like noone before us and setting up a awesome platform for Luke, Reynolds and GI.

Doesn't matter how good comparatively your number 6 prop is if numbers 1-5 aren't much chop. Geez BunniesMan, you question why you cop so much shit on here, then turn around and post mind-numbingly stupid threads like this one.

If you want 6, I'll give you 7: Weyman, Hunt, Merrin, Stockwell, Ah Mau, Matthews, Gower. That's just our out-and-out props for next year. 3 first class front rowers, an exciting youngster, and 3 more than handy back ups. We had to let Jeremy Latimore go due to our depth in this area, despite some very good performances this year. Better than Souths front row in every respect. Only if Sam plays up front and/or our top 3 are all injured is a comparison worth the bother.

I'd really love for a few of the Souths players to jump on here and read this thread.

Well that's stating the obvious isn't it.

I'm not aware of ever claiming I speak for anyone besides myself...

1. Cap cheating doesn't count. Nothing between 2002 and 2004 means anything from the Dogs.
2. Tolman/Kasiano/Graham is 3 props. I'm talking 6. Your 4th, 5th and 6th aren't enough to be better than our 6th best in 2013.
3. Again, key word: rotation. Petero and Webcke were great but that's 2. They never had the depth we're about to have.

It comes down to this: has there ever been a better number 6 prop than Jeff Lima. I don't think so.

2006 broncos prop "depth" was Petro, Hannant, Webcke, Parker, Thaiday, Taylor, and Kenny

That rotation and depth dumps from a great height all over our prop/depth for next year.

Pull your head in

Do Souths play with 4 props on the bench or am I missing something?

p.s. The only good one named was Sam Burgess and he will be either in the second row/injured/suspended next year anyway...

Seconded.

Get a grip BM. The only world class player in that list is Sam. Roy and Lima are over the hill and Luke B was an offcut from SL. The twins have potential to be as good as Sam in maybe 4-5 years' time.

And Maguire has usually played with just one specialist prop on the bench, so where do you get a 6 man prop rotation from BM?

Now that I think about it there has been some good deep prop rotations around the years. BUT if the twins do fulfill their potential like I think they can, well then I'll be made to look like a genius.

1. The Bulldogs were below the salary cap in 03/04, notice how I didn't mention 2002 you stupid merkin
2. Luke Burgess is shit, Tom has played all but one match off the bench in ESL and George has played a grand total of 3 matches. Just because they have a good brother doesn't mean they will be good. Cases include Peter Lamb, Heath Lewis, Scott Lewis, Liam Foran and many many other players. Just because a few sets of brother's make it doesn't mean it will happen everytime you stupid merkin
2.Jeff Liam will be number 3 or 4, as is Asotasi for you and is worse than the Bulldogs top 3. Martin Tapau is Bulldogs number 4 and is a former junior NZ captain. Other players that would play front row for Bulldogs include Eastwood and also James Gavet who was NSW Cup front rower of the year. Also can't forget David Klemmer who ran over 300m in a Toyota Cup match earlier this year. So no problem in depth for them either, you stupid merkin
4. Bronco's in 2002 had Webcke, Civoniceva, Gee, Meyers you stupid cunr
5. Bronco's in 2006 has Webcke, Civoniceva, Brad Thorn and Ben Hannant so not a bad rotation, you stupid merkin.
6. What the f**k do you need 6 props for if all 6 of them play regular first grade next year, Souths will be f**ked because they have 2 injuries at least in the one position. If Tom and George and Luke all play in the same game, Souths will most likely lose because they aren't NRL standard yet.

Who knows, with 3 Burgess brothers playing together next year North Sydney may give the NSW Cup a shake

BM is the best troll ever. Should live under the harbour bridge and rob trains instead of goats.
