Sheens has been quoted as saying he is going to bring Lawrence when fit into the no6 role.

The guy is a total tosser, Lawrence was finally starting to come good as a centre after a pretty dismal year now the guru wants to throw him into the hot seat where he struggles. Fulton two from two and Sheens wants to put Lawrence in their!!!

Please, please, Tim retire at the end of the season

Andrew Johns and Brad Fittler also supported the move on the basis with two dominant ball players already in the side, the team needed a running 5/8.

Fitter spoke highly of the Tigers and mentioned the play of Fulton. Johns' heaped praise on Woods. It wasn't anti Tiger at all.

We don't need a 6 with a great passing game when we have Robbie, Benji and Moltzen. The problem is that Lawrence has never looked like a good quality 6 even just as a runner of the footy.

I'm not sure what to make of this. If Lawrence plays like an extra centre or a lock forward that is fine the problem is that he seems to want to pass the footy and he doesn't do it too well.

I watched a bit of the footy show as well and they called Woods basically the best prop in the game.

Wow. His pathetic rush in defence will see him almost to the opposite centre position if he defends at pivot.

That will be something to behold

You fellas have it all wrong. The way to win comps is to play a 5/8 at half, a half at fullback, a centre at 5/8 and a senile old f**king spastic in the coach's box

Can't wait for the semis when Benji's kicking game will be on song after 10 seasons in first grade. We had it all again on Saturday night, kicks on the 3rd to no one, grubbers rifling the pickets like Brian Lara at the SCG, midfield bombs that go backwards, our man Sheens is a visionary. Give more kicking responsibility to the most inconsistent kicker in the game.

But it's alright, Lote will be back and we can get rid of that inept winger who `has a few issues'. Our coach needs to be f**ked off and f**ked off fast. The only ones who'd object are the fans of the other 15 clubs

On the subject of coaches, there is the poll on this site as to who is the best coach at the moment and guess what, Sheens isn't even an option. Not bad when you consider is/was the Australian coach. Seems like no one rates this goose....

AS Pistol pete said-he also wants busted broken down Lote for another year, likes to start the year with experienced players (another quote from the guru) Maybe that is why we usually start the season so badly!!!

The sad thing is he will be around for a couple more years picking players out of position, picking players out of form and having players get a cold sitting on the bench

they want them to loose:crazy:

Thats about it. I was just starting to feel a little happier about the side as well.
Lawrence has failed every f**king time at 6 ... and i couldnt give a shit what Fittler thinks . Pointless even discussing who that knob jockey selects anyway , its just the same crap over and over and over again , year after year after friggin year .

Here here,I am way over Sheens,2005 was a long time ago,2006 was our last proper halfback, when is this idiot getting punted, and why isn't Humphreys or the board putting the acid on him,he is not the great coach everyone thinks he is.
Why didn't we let him go to Penrith,Folkes would have us in the top 4 now, what a lost opportunity.:(

Benji's halves partner all year has been wearing the jumper with 1 on it.

f**k its a simple solution that will better the team.

he f**ked the club around for 3 years, playing a hooker at halfback in Morris. The few times he played at hooker he played great.

Moltzen in the halves is so unbelievably more dangerous than at fullback, its not even close.

I started the thread "Coach Sheens Do You Not See" on Saturday night.

He doesn't see, does Humphreys?

As you said madunit,
Moltzen in the halves is so unbelievably more dangerous than at fullback

But no doubt someone will come on here and tell us that Sheens is correct, Marshall is a great 7 and Moltzen is good fullback or 5/8. When it's as simple as, Marshall at 6 & Moltzen at 7

Yeh without doubt our best combo at present would be Ryan no1 Moltzen no6 and Benji at 7. The only other possibility would be Humble at six or seven. But never never Lawrence at 6 and for that matter the same apply s to Aysford

FFS Rowdy is a strong ball runner but at best he has average ball skills,he is not a 5/8 and Marshall is not a 1/2.push both of them one position wider and all is fine.

But isn't this what happens when Moltzen pushes up to seven?

I just don't know who to believe anymore...

Two of Rugby League's greatest ever halves on national television believe the Tigers need a running 5/8.

Yet we have Old Time Tiger advising "It's as simple as"

and Super Coach sdvising "Yeh without doubt our best combo at present"

It is clear Ryan is safe at fullback but brings with him a pop gun attack lacking the pace and passing game to threaten the defences of the top sides. And if you look back on Sheens' preference for a fullback, he has always chosen one with a strong passing game; Belcher at the Raiders and Bowen at the Cowboys.

We know also the reason Moltzen is at fullback is to cover for the injury to Tedesco. Likewise, Moltzen began the year at half to cover for the loss of Lui.

Seems to me the side has done well just to be where it is with the loss of two important players.

I know its hard but there are a copious amount of trolls on this board. Despite being told to rewatch the game they don't see that Moltzen is playing like a lot of fullbacks and pushing up outside of Benji who is playing at 7. Just try to ignore the morons.

Lawrence will probably play a running 6 role but to be fair to everyone he hasn't played well in this role when he tries to ball play. Fulton showed how to do it last week. Lets hope if they play Lawrence there it works although it hasn't in the past.

Who is "they"?

Lawrence at 6 has failed every time. Just like Farah at 7. Just like John Morris at 7 (for three years).

But Sheens will never budge and will keep trying it over and over again.
