The Hayne Plane has crashed and burned

Hayne was my favourite player to watch outside of my team, who were woeful, in 2014. He was sensational that year and then he decided to follow his dream man.

Nothing like a healthy dose of narcissism to change my entire opinion on the bloke. I enjoy watching him fail these days.

I'm sure he could turn it all around tomorrow if he just realized what a muppet he is being, he is just in his own world and thinks anyone that says something he doesn't want to hear is a "hater". I'm sure if he had a coach that dropped him and told him how it is he would just find some other dream to skulk of to rather than actually changing is woeful attitude and work ethic.

If Hayne was half as good as he thinks he is he would be an immortal. My favourite Hayne moment was this year's second Origin game where he ran out beating his chest and doing his own personal pre-game lap of honour. Once the game began he imploded without a whimper. Absolute w@nker!!!

He's been absolute dog shit since he came back. He hasn't been even close to replicating even 1 half game of his previous form.

The game has passed him by, and he doesn't have the work ethic to get back to where he was. Betting on french rugby when his contract expires because i don't think any club is stupid enough to pay what he's after.

Well he has no one to blame but himself...he could've gone down as one of the greatest players ever but will be known as an underachiever....all that talent wasted for lack of a work ethic.

I think he may go down as an over achiever. Those good years were the anomolies, where on average he is a dud

Has there ever been a player so hyped with so little team success? Eels were dreadful the whole time he was there and now Titans are the same?

Hayne is still easily in top 5 players to ever play for NSW in Origin, nobody can deny this despite him being a shithead

even that comes with limited success, think its 9-14 for his origin career with 1 series win lol

been almost always down the bottom of the NRL ladder, almost zero team success.

Didn't watch his most recent game but he looks like he couldn't care less.
Before Origin he was firing but since game three he has gone into his shell again.
If he was failing but tryng hard then he would get a bit of respect.

After last week I thought he would aim up today but he was non existent.
If he was having a go and f*cking up eg. dropped balls etc. you'd at least give him a pass for trying. At times today you would almost think he was deliberately running away from the play.
Wonder if there would be a termination clause in his favour and he is hoping to get punted??

Looked really silly leaving the NFL (pushed) to try to get on the Fijian Rugby Union 7's Olympic team and then came back with his tail between his legs to play for the Gold Coast Gravediggers.

I think focus on Jarryd Hayne is failures is taking a toll on him. He suggested that Neil Henry is not talking to him, and he will talk to his manager about potential exit from the Titans if he feels he is not wanted. The relationship between him and the coach is clearly strained.

"TITANS star Jarryd Hayne has sensationally claimed he is willing to walk away from the club if Neil Henry does not want him, revealing the coach refused to talk to him in the lead-up to Saturday’s loss to St George Illawarra.

In a fiery aftermath to Gold Coast’s fourth consecutive loss, Hayne said he would speak with his manager Wayne Beavis this week as he explores the possibility of cutting short his stay at the Titans.

He is also racing the clock to be fit to play his former club Parramatta on Thursday after leaving UOW Jubilee Oval in a moon boot.

The NRL has been abuzz with talk that Henry and his star played had fallen out and Hayne confirmed their relationship had soured recently.

“I don’t know, up until this week I thought the (relationship) was all right,” Hayne said. “If his opinion has changed from what he told me then that’s for him. For me I will talk to my manager during the week to figure it out. If he doesn’t want me here then I’ll move on.

“It’s not one of those cases (where) I’m sticking out. If someone doesn’t want you there and it’s clear as day I will move on. He is the coach.

“He hasn’t spoken to me this week. It is a little bit (weird).”

Hayne and Henry have a year left on their respective deals after Hayne exercised a $1 million option for 2018. The enigmatic fullback said recent media speculation had stung,

“When people send you articles,” Hayne said. “I don’t read the paper. People ask me what’s going on and I’m like ‘oh shit’ … I’ll talk to my manger. If he doesn’t want me here I won’t be here.

“It’s one of those things. As a person I think he is a great bloke. As far as coaching if he doesn’t see me in the picture, I respect that but I would rather find out from the person rather than the paper. That’s what I’m disappointed in.

“It’s been tough to enjoy (football). As a team we’re all down on confidence. We’re not playing anywhere near as good as we can.”

Henry had “no comment” about his relationship with Hayne.

“He is a player in the team,” Henry said. “We talk and converse and do things. There’s been a lot of media about him at the moment. The thing that makes the go away is his performance. That will take care of things. He had a couple of strong touches early. Hard to get into the game with not a lot of possession.”

Henry is facing a fight to keep his own job as the Titans crashed to another heavy loss going down 42-16 after leaking 28 unanswered points. Henry said he had not sort any assurances from the Titans board regarding his position."

Pretty odd if Henry has just stopped talking to him for no apparent reason.
Surely there is more to it.
Either way shit go by Hayne saying this to the media.
