The Hayne Plane has crashed and burned

Watching the Hayne plane disaster closely yesterday he was not even interested in the game. A disgrace for a player that commanded top dollar only to deliver peanuts and excuses.

I think Henry need to find the black box to find out what's really going on in Haynes head.

I think focus on Jarryd Hayne is failures is taking a toll on him. He suggested that Neil Henry is not talking to him, and he will talk to his manager about potential exit from the Titans if he feels he is not wanted. The relationship between him and the coach is clearly strained.

"TITANS star Jarryd Hayne has sensationally claimed he is willing to walk away from the club if Neil Henry does not want him, revealing the coach refused to talk to him in the lead-up to Saturday’s loss to St George Illawarra.

In a fiery aftermath to Gold Coast’s fourth consecutive loss, Hayne said he would speak with his manager Wayne Beavis this week as he explores the possibility of cutting short his stay at the Titans.

He is also racing the clock to be fit to play his former club Parramatta on Thursday after leaving UOW Jubilee Oval in a moon boot.

The NRL has been abuzz with talk that Henry and his star played had fallen out and Hayne confirmed their relationship had soured recently.

“I don’t know, up until this week I thought the (relationship) was all right,” Hayne said. “If his opinion has changed from what he told me then that’s for him. For me I will talk to my manager during the week to figure it out. If he doesn’t want me here then I’ll move on.

“It’s not one of those cases (where) I’m sticking out. If someone doesn’t want you there and it’s clear as day I will move on. He is the coach.

“He hasn’t spoken to me this week. It is a little bit (weird).”

Hayne and Henry have a year left on their respective deals after Hayne exercised a $1 million option for 2018. The enigmatic fullback said recent media speculation had stung,

“When people send you articles,” Hayne said. “I don’t read the paper. People ask me what’s going on and I’m like ‘oh shit’ … I’ll talk to my manger. If he doesn’t want me here I won’t be here.

“It’s one of those things. As a person I think he is a great bloke. As far as coaching if he doesn’t see me in the picture, I respect that but I would rather find out from the person rather than the paper. That’s what I’m disappointed in.

“It’s been tough to enjoy (football). As a team we’re all down on confidence. We’re not playing anywhere near as good as we can.”

Henry had “no comment” about his relationship with Hayne.

“He is a player in the team,” Henry said. “We talk and converse and do things. There’s been a lot of media about him at the moment. The thing that makes the go away is his performance. That will take care of things. He had a couple of strong touches early. Hard to get into the game with not a lot of possession.”

Henry is facing a fight to keep his own job as the Titans crashed to another heavy loss going down 42-16 after leaking 28 unanswered points. Henry said he had not sort any assurances from the Titans board regarding his position."

Hayne should go play in England. He would carve over there and all the coaches out here are gutless wankers who are always looking to blame someone else except their cowardly dumb approach to the game.

Jarryd Hayne on the outer? It may not be the case. If Neil Henry can't resolve his differences with Hayne it may be him who will be shown the door.

To be fair to Hayne there are reports he is high maintenance but I don't remember him having a history of troubles with previous coaches unlike Robbie Farah. Apparently Hayne isn't the only one that Henry is clashing with at the Titans which makes you think there may be two sides to every story.

Titans need to clean house now,get rid of Henry,Hayne and a few other players that are loitering there.
They need a new coach to overhaul their roster or they're looking at multiple spoons.
Need to do what Tiges and knights are doing.

It's a battle of the losers, a coach with f**k all success v a player with almost no team success.

Battle of the no hopers.

They had a better squad before Hayne.

No coach has lasted longer than two seasons with a team containing Hayne.

After last week I thought he would aim up today but he was non existent.
If he was having a go and f*cking up eg. dropped balls etc. you'd at least give him a pass for trying. At times today you would almost think he was deliberately running away from the play.
Wonder if there would be a termination clause in his favour and he is hoping to get punted??

I think I heard on MMM today the club can release him 500k out of pocket but it would give then 700k to out towards re signing Ash Taylor. Could be wrong.

I dont think they are in as bad a shape as is made out. Move on the coach and Hayne and they have Lawrence and Arrow coming in.

Go back to the grinding style that suits them better

Dogs need a re build moreso than Titans.

If that's the case the only club I can think of that would take him would be the Dogs based on needing to upgrade players but their cap is a mess.

You obviously haven't taken notice of Hindmarsh's list of coaches Hayne 'clashed' with . . . so, if Hayne doesn't like the way he is asked to do things the prick is entitled to bludge

this may be the case but in terms of shitness ALL of those coaches have been hammered on these forums and in the media for their coaching with and without Hayne around. Steve Kearny, Ricky Stuart, and Jason Taylor ffs have a history of being shit coaches and players other than Hayne having issues with them... maybe not Kearny, but he's just not a good coach imo. Jump forward to Titans, sure Hayne is there, but they have had a shit load of injuries, as well as Henry not having the balls to pick a pair of halves and run with them. His shuffling around of Elgey and Roberts, and playing Roberts at fullback while hayne was wasted in centres doesn't strike me as smart or decisive. Henry also has a history of players losing confidence in him. And just being crazy here, but Hindmarsh and TIm Mannah were also at Eels when they cut through coaches... maybe they white anted them too. Not saying Hayne is blameless, but I think Henry is grateful the heat is on Hayne because its taken it off of him... maybe thats why he threw out the line about not wanting to sign Hayne, because up until then I don't recall Hayne being so under the pump, but there was a lot of attention being drawn to Henry's coaching.

Watching Hayne play for the Titans, against the Broncos tonight especially but also in previous games, I see a player who looks like he wishes he was literally anywhere else. Kicking the ball dead when he just had a fresh set, defending like a busted ass, being blunt as a rusty sword in attacking opportunities, which the Tits certainly weren't short of tonight....If you have no passion for the jersey you're wearing Hayne, then do the Tits a favor and f**k off to whatever your next big dream is.

I have a hunch what it might be: forcing your way into a better performing side like the Sharks or Roosters so you can prance around acting like a superstar again.

IBM, the whole reason Hayne took up the 1 year option with the Titans is because no other NRL team wanted him, including both the Sharks and the Roosters. None of them are prepared to put up with his attitude which does not make him out as a team player willing to fit in.

Fair enough, but it wasn't Hayne that got Daniel Anderson or Stephen Kearney fired. It was a new Parramatta board that was too eager to put it's own stamp on the team when Anderson was let go. Then quickly let Stephen Kearney go when board elections were around the corner and the team was faltering.

Alex McKinnon reckoned the Titans didn't need Hayne when they signed him and I agree. Jason Taylor has proven to be an excellent 'attack' coach and I have more faith in him than I do Hayne

Sad for Henry in my opinion. He had the team playing as a team last year until the board thrust Hayne on his team. Hayne plays for himself and nobody else. They haven't been the same since. They'll both end up getting the arse. The board remains in tact....

Their forwards are pretty much just plodders. Slow hit ups slow play the balls and lazy in defence. Any fullback would struggle behind them.

They've had no consistency in the halves because of Henry's inability to see our accept that Taylor/Elgey isn't working.

Has Hayne earned his paycheck? No. But he is hardly the problem at the Titans that certain facets of the media would have you believe.
