Just add any info to an updated list of all injuries for all clubs and post it on the last page so at least we'll know it'll always be on the last or second last page of this thread and anything not yet added to it we can read through a page or two to check.
Great idea.

Civoniceva could be back as soon as finals round 1. That is if Penrith actually make it. I'd say if they win tonight Civoniceva would be cleared to resume training.

As for Civoniceva, he assures us there will be no surprise return on Friday night from the toe injury which has hampered his season.

The good news, however, is that a meeting with his specialist on Friday could see him back for a finals campaign.

Anthony Cherrington
The Roosters backrower will be out of action for 4-6 weeks after suffering a grade 2 medial ligament tear in his knee. He is hopeful of a return before the season is out.
Tom Symonds
The Roosters local product dislocated his shoulder in the first half during the round 20 match against the Rabbitohs. Symonds had a full reconstruction and will be fit to return to action in 2010.
Braith Anasta
Braith Anasta dislocated and fractured his left ankle in the Roosters narrow loss to the Cowboys. The Roosters captain had sugery on it yesterday in Sydney and is expected to miss the remainder of the season.
James Aubusson
James Aubusson's recovery from a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament is progressing beter than usual according to his specialist. The hooker will be fit to return to preseason duties in 2010.
Mark O'Meley
The Roosters prop recovered from surgery on a broken hand but has since had further surgery on his knee to remove cartilage. O'Meley, who leaves the club next season, has played his last game for the Roosters.
Mose Mosoe
Mose has had surgery on his ruptured ACL and will be out for the remainder of the season.

So 4 of our top players, Symonds, Anasta, Aubusson and O'Meley are out with season ending injuries.

Cherrington was named to play for Newtown Jets this weekend so he should be right for them. Would have played a lot more first grade this year if it wasn't for his off-field issues.

There's a bit of confusing info on this one.

No go Petero, says Panthers boss Leary

PENRITH chief executive Mick Leary says hopes of injured captain Petero Civoniceva making a comeback if the Panthers can survive a couple of weeks into the finals are unlikely to be realised. Civoniceva, who hasn't played since suffering a painful toe injury in Origin II, told the Herald earlier this month that he hadn't given up on a comeback if Penrith made the finals and was doing everything in his power to be fit. But Leary told Sin Bin there was no chance of Civoniceva playing for the Panthers again this season. "We'd love to see him back this season, but it won't happen. Petero will be lucky to make it back in time for the international series at the end of the season." Leary is working on re-signing star centre Michael Jennings on a five-year deal and second-rower Frank Pritchard for three years. "Ideally, we'd like to reach agreements with both players before the summer," he said. "They both want to stay, so it's a matter of being able to work something out."

On 2gb they said their mail was Civ was a chance and he'd be taking a fitness test. Can't remember who said it but they seemed fairly confident Civ was a good chance of playing on Sunday without any real source cited.
