Keith was very good yesterday, but the dogs never really tested him in defense. He got very luck coming in off his wing a few times, but defensibly its probably the hardest place to be on the field. I get the feeling a good backline could have a field day on his flank.

Anyway credit where credit is due, four meat pies and two of them he had to work hard to get them

. . . So in 15yrs of the mighty WT, we now have 3 players that have the rare distinction of scoring 4 tries in a game.
Kevvie McGuiness . . . a little pocket dynamo. Great step, a good turn of speed and deceptive with ball in hand.
Marika Koro . . . . a revelation from Fiji. Big, strong and super quick. A true crowd favourite whenever he touched the ball.

And now the great Lulia is consigned to joining this illustrious group.
History will remember him in a glowing light.
The Bradbury of our club and of this great game.
In 20yrs time, kiddies will be looking back through the annals of the mighty WT, and wonder the greatness of Keith Lulia.

Good on him !!. He looked like he enjoyed every minute of it, and why shouldn't he.

Does anyone know if Lawrence is okay? He actually went really well on the right side

Really ? I guess he didnt screw up as usual so thats a " went well " for Lawrence.
If it happened we lost the game Lawrence and Galloway would have been under scrutiny for adding next to zero during the game . Thats the reality , Galloway soft and submissive as always and Rowdy apart from some hard 2nd rower type runs and credit for a very nice tip on ( he didnt have to run= bonus for him ) they as senior players were in the bottom run of contributions :(

Has been ordinary all year. Solid last week on the wing. Wasnt tested today but showed good strength near the line on two of his tries. May find a temporary home on the wing. Happy to give him credit today.

One excellent game, one good, 13 average to shit games.

Agree, but credit where due, well done Keith.

I was bagging Lulia to my Bulldogs mate just before the game and then he goes and scores 4 trys. Credit where it is due, couple of those trys were really good efforts. I bet Nofu is spewing though, the best service the right hand side has had all year and he is injured.

Lulia hasn't been poor this season. He just hasn't been special but he isn't as good as Simona for example. He has done his job and last week showed that he can finish off a play if he gets a chance.

You're right. He hasn't been poor this season, he's been abhorrent.

Lulia has been poor. I've seen b doubles turn & move away quicker than he does in defence. He has no power through his shoulders in his tackles or his running.

How many of those were first hitup off the kick off? We scored nine tries... Say he ran it back 5 of those times for 20m a piece you're already looking at 100m in 5 carries.

I was pretty disappointed when Keith left the Knights. He was a player that was dead set tragic when he first got to the Knights, but really improved his game to a point where we didn't lose much using him as a depth outside back. Actually, he had some cracking games filling in for Doogs and was a much better option for us at the time than Junior Sau - Keith would at least service his winger.

Haven't watched him at all this year with you guys, disappointed to read he hasn't kicked on with you. Paterson is another of the giant disappointments that left the Knights that I have always hoped would find his potential somewhere. 2 really great seasons from him - his breakout year where he was unstoppable in attack... and his 2nd year where he was cutting blokes in half in defence. Then the Mundine crowd got in his head...

Keith needs to lap up every drop of kudos he can get, he had one of those games, every player has that special day, in cricketing term the first ball hit the middle of the bat and was the size of a beach ball.

Hope Iam wrong but the chooks, Manly and other good teams will target him all day but in saying that he knows how to finish off a backline raid.

Paterson has only had one bad game that I can remember. I think with another off season and an injury free year he could be anything.

Yep.. I was aware of that but didnt want to be a downer of some overall decent figures... good to see tho Char u are a reader of the game and dont just take stats on face value .. truly tho most ppl dont account for those things mate so good call... anyway go Kef but he can do better.

But what you haven't taken into account is that his kick off returns actually set in motion the next try, so really he had a lot try assists for the day:D
