The Keith Lulia MEGA-Thread

This guy has been terrible for us for most of the year, bog average in attack and a f##king gate way to the try line in defence. Against Manly I thought he defended well against Matai, last week he did well to make the most of his chances on the wing but still had some moments in defence. The dogs also didn't have the opportunity to test him under the high ball mainly due to a lack of ball, time will tell but hopefully he has turned the corner for the better.

I was pretty disappointed when Keith left the Knights. He was a player that was dead set tragic when he first got to the Knights, but really improved his game to a point where we didn't lose much using him as a depth outside back. Actually, he had some cracking games filling in for Doogs and was a much better option for us at the time than Junior Sau - Keith would at least service his winger.

Haven't watched him at all this year with you guys, disappointed to read he hasn't kicked on with you. Paterson is another of the giant disappointments that left the Knights that I have always hoped would find his potential somewhere. 2 really great seasons from him - his breakout year where he was unstoppable in attack... and his 2nd year where he was cutting blokes in half in defence. Then the Mundine crowd got in his head...

He has played one and a half good games on the wing. All of his games at center have been disgraceful. Offering nothing in attack, dropping balls cold and a complete liability in defence. Against penrith they had a 2 on 2 and he stood still while Jamal idris waddled past him, it was probably the worst effort of anyone all season.

Paterson has been a bit hit and miss with both form and injury. Was probably our best player in the game against the sharks where he unfortunately. He is unsigned for next year, I'd like to see us keep him.

I saw the picture of his hand post surgery and you can see why he hasn't came back yet. With all the injuries we seem to get, we need a player like Paterson around, especially since the backrow seems to be area we're light on, particularly now Fulton's retired.

I agree. He couldn't be on much money and while he has a mistake or two in him when he is on he is a very good player. He adds to the team....

Keith did well on the Footy Show tonight - perfect partners.

7 out of 8 or something....

At one point he was already answering the question before Fatty had finished asking him.,.

He is on a roll at the moment

Nothing wrong with Keith and there never has been. I can't see a spot for him in our top side but as a back-up player he does the job well.

Do you stop watching the games after the first five minutes? He has been an absolute abortion at centre.

If you completely overlook his inability to move sideways, inability to employ any part of his shoulder with any reasonable force and inability to run onto the ball, he has been pretty good.

Keep up the good work guys - love your stuff. Keith is just fine as a back-up option.

Lulia unfortunately broke his neck against the Cowboys ending his season and possible his career, while he is contracted for next season his future now depends on his recovery.Alarmingly his injury was not detected until Lulia went for scans days after the game as it wasn't improving.
While i am far from a fan of his,i wish him all the best in his recovery.

I just can't believe how bad our injuries have gotten. It is bordering on completely insane. Three years in a row we have not been able to field a 90% strength team at any point. Completely f**ked
